love all the ideas but especially the cake dome. When my spouse was alive and he would get off work late at night... he said knowing there was something sweet and homemade under that dome was love to him. A piece of cake and a cold glass of milk before he came to bed was his reward for his hard days work. I have been alone now for 20 years and always have something under a dome. Reminds me of him

I love the enthusiasm you have for the little things in your home. Those 3 white roses reminded me of the time I went to my young friend's birthday party. It was International Women's Day on the same day. My 3 male friends each greeted me with a kiss and a white rose when I arrived. I was pleasantly surprised. (They are all Polish) I put the 3 roses in a blue and white striped jug when I got home a took a pic. I always take pics of flowers people give me. Usually the little things can mean so much. I love all the little nicknacks you have in your kitchen. 😍

I love to use old things for display in my kitchen, one thing I enjoy using are old cups that I found, in my glass canisters. I read that old coffee cups are actually a cup so I can measure with them also. I pray you have a blessed Mother's Day.

It’s good to use up all your items in your canisters. Some people just fill them for show and don’t have any idea last time they filled them. I use a dry erase marker on the back at the bottom just to remind myself last time I filled them. As you say, the look is timeless and super practical. I truly love how you used “well loved” items in your beautiful kitchen.

We are currently remodeling our kitchen and my husband let me pick whatever sink and faucet I wanted. So I of course picked out a gorgeous farmhouse sink and bridge style faucet. Since I spend at least an hour a day doing dishes, I wanted to have a sink I would enjoy standing in front of.

I understand your love of glass storage jars. I love to store anything in store bought food glass jars. I reuse them, sometimes putting a pretty glass knob on the lid.

I love aprons & wear mine for cooking,cleaning & crafts. I love great towels, oven mitts, & pot holders too!

Love all your ideas. I also have a stoneware bowl I inherited from an aunt and just changed to clear glass jars so easy to see what you need. Also have cutting boards also some from goodwill

Hi Andrea, thank you for showing us your beautiful home! Thank you for your good inspirations. Although my kitchen is very very small I also try to keep it functional and beautiful. Greetings from Germany:)

I also have a little milk bottle by my sink for garden flowers. They are actual milk bottles. Used before the throwaway cardboard ones. Long before your time, I'm sure. Love your home.

I purchased two sets of kitchen towels from "The Cottages" line sold at Marshall's, absolutely love them. I am slowly working on curating my utensil crock with vintage wooden utensils, I always seek them while thrifting. I keep my "dish washing" essentials on an acacia wood riser next to the sink decanted into amber glass bottles. A bottle of "insert favorite dish detergent here" , isn't decor.

There is just something about seeing beauty in simple things. Like your dish brush. I love things that are wood and that color. I also have a nail brush that's in a dish next to the sink in my bathroom that's the same color as your dish brush that makes my sink look so pretty. I have a thing about wood & I don't know where that came from. Maybe it's becuz I'm a scandahuve. They love wood. I'm Swedish & Norwegian. I also put a small bundle of pansies in a vase there too. It's so fun. You can creat beauty in every moment in whatever you do in your house. You can even put the things you showed us in your video in your paintings. Kitchen still life's.

I need new pretty rectangular pot holders. I gave up on oven mitts because of a nasty burn. It wasn't padded well between the thumb and pointer area. Definitely something to look for when shopping for one.

Love all the items. I like the stoneware bowls too..... yes heavy ...but love them! Cutting boards...scoops... the list goes on right? If we are cooking and cleaning up..nothing wrong with beauty around us ! Nothing wrong with a feel good dish soap container ( I find mine handy sitting on the counter in a pretty container instead of opening the cabinet to get it out...plus my hands are usually covered and my cabinets handles needed cleaning after 🤷‍♀️LOL! ) and pretty scrub brush... a little like Snow White and we “whistle while we work 😁💛” You are showing the pregnancy glow ! Pray all is good ! Nice video!

Use your cutting boards for charcuterie trays. Even with the little guys, carrots, celery with peanut butter, grapes. Great way to make a special and fun display of healthy snacks! I do wear my apron daily. So easy to carry my phone and other things. I always shorten the aprons after I first wash them for a better length.

Love everything thank you for sharing will go out and buy some items!....the only thing I didn’t see was a beautiful bowl of fruit 😂 I always have a lot of fruit we eat plenty. Half of it is in my fridge and the other on a tier tray.

That is a vintage salt box.

Indeed, sometimes beauty does outweigh function. I don't mind the time it takes to transfer ingredients to beautiful jars and canisters - I'm in my kitchen for hours each day, so why not be surrounded by beautiful things? 😊
