Yes they truly are demons.. But it's not always because of a messed up childhood, some ruined their own childhood because of their narc behavior because they are born like that, it's inheritable and so it's in their DNA. They will feel like a victim even tho they had a good childhood, but they made their childhood miserable for themselves and sometimes even for their whole family too because they always got them in trouble by misbehaving.

  • @noself7889

@@lunanina20 I agree. Many people grow up in bad and sometimes even terrible childhoods and turn out to excellent people. Some even get into the field of counseling to help others. People can’t blame everything in their childhood. Some people are just scummy people because they choose to be. My view is that it is all choice.

Secrets are their life. Their actions never match their words...I resonate with the competition and achievements things the most. Everything you do will be downgraded. Those people can´t lose they get literally crazy when they lose. (They always want to be better than everyone around them). They create an atmosphere to compete (they need the drama and supply out of those environments).

My ex boyfriend started talking like me, playing the fake empath to people who didn't know him well enough. People began getting attracted to him more than before, thinking he was an empath, a bonus to his good looks and charming personality. But, every single thing he said was actually borrowed from me. Of course, this would not work for long, because his empathy performance was totally derivative. I left him after being with him for 8 months, the moment I started doubting him. I approached a friend who's a psychologist and she decoded his character for me. My boyfriend had both NPD and HPD. Apart from borrowing empathy language from me, he did a lot of other things which Danish has pointed out as examples of textbook narcissism. In fact, his mother was the master narcissist in their terribly enmeshed family and the family's dysfunctionality was cleverly covered up by their public performance of grandiose behaviour which easily impressed others. I was saved because I had an awareness of what NPD could lead to. I called him out, and, totally cut him off within 8 months, even before it had become too toxic.

I asked the soon to be ex if he saw it- he couldn’t see anything. Finally, I was free after 45 years of being trapped in his control! I have tried ti do everything to save my daughter but ender up having to sacrifise my daughter because I live far away...I can only wait and hope for the best for my daughter and maybe one day see her again and take her into my arms and help her to heal and become normal

He would sit holding my hand watching TV, stroking my face/ hair, saying how much he adored and loved me...whilst texting " a work thing" phone fell outta his pocket...I picked it up...he was an airline pilot just landed.... I put phone back on floor and said nothing...too shocked. Eventually he catfished a friend of a friend so was caught out! Everyone does it, it means nothing, it's a bit of fun, I need people to see me as wonderful or I feel crap and every other excuse you can think of BUT accepting NO liability. I threw him out and took him back a year later when he was dying of cancer...yup hrs before he died he was still at it..all there on his phone and tablet! They simply cannot change ...they also cannot see how their actions hurt you, they cannot empathise.

I used to think that I'd lost my damn mind when actually it was this horrible behavior and insecurity in these people that was the core of the problem. I was still quite young when I realized they were projecting (of course I didn’t know these words/definitions yet) onto me bc it became very clear that they thought the world actually revolved around them and everything I did, every thought of mine needed to be about them. Truly disgusting behavior coming from “adults” who were (and still are!) willing to blame their daughter for all their problems and their own words and actions. When I pointed out that my evening had not been enjoyable, but downright unpleasant, he asked why I didn't mingle. After that I let him socialize without me there. I had a better time at home with the pets. At least it felt as if they like me.

For me it's 5 and 6. My ex did a pretty good job in acting like who he pretends to be. But I found it strange that he wasn't even capable of doing basic adult tasks... I found out about his ugly side from his ex gf he cheated on. And yes he cheated with me. I've been speaking to his ex and put 2 and 2 together to find out the iceberg.. it was actually a relief to find out that he was lying to me like he was breathing. Watching your channel helped me to get answers to all the "why?" Questions I had in my head. Yes it was a waste of time but this was the final straw for me to go on a healing journey so I don't ever get in another toxic relationship. I am taking accountability for allowing myself to fall for this shadow puppetry

My withheld the fact that he was married in the beginning and throughout our relationship. I made it clear that I don't date married men or men in a serious relationship so, he withheld the truth bc, he knew I would have left him earlier on or right in the beginning. He strung me on for almost 15 years.

The narcissists ability to mask who they are is the number one way they keep up the abuse of their target. Sometimes the target truly is (not just feels like) the only one who knows the true colors of the narcissist.

That the narcissist likes to watch us tiptoe. I realized about 2 years ago that both my mother and husband are and were narcissists. Mother taught me to walk on my toes; my husband has reinforced this. I am slowly unwinding all the insanity they threw at me. I looked at what I've been though, and realized I am strong for which I am grateful. (FYI: There have been many other such people in my life.) BUT: I am alive and growing. I win, and so do you. Many Blessings!

Thank you for your work. Two of these were what I mostly experienced with my first husband. First, he seemed to be a chameleon: to have very few firm opinions of his own. He'd quickly flex to accommodate people he wanted favors or recognition from. I had this growing unsettling sensation that there was no one actually there, in his skin. Secondly, the gaslighting was exhausting. I was strong and sometimes argumentative; I'd fight with him and insist he said or did whatever he said or did, while he'd angrily try to convince me that as ever, I had it all wrong. During the divorce, my attorney went through our finances and discovered things he'd done without my knowledge or agreement. It only strengthened my belief that I was doing a very good thing for myself to get away from him forever.

But the only thing that my ex accepted 1-2 times when our relationship came to an end that he never loved me and once he accepted that he is not like other people like he cannot experience any excitement for life, love and many more things. He broke up with me because I asked him so many questions and one of them was , "What is my value in his life?" He just refused to answer me and started blaming me for not letting him have his breakfast and asking pointless questions. That day I ordered food for him, he had the food and didn't even appreciate me for at least once that I really cared for him and at night he broke up with me. But after 26-27 days he messaged me again and told me that he cannot sleep at night because I am not there in his life. I can't understand what he wants. Anyways I have gone no contact with him and am trying to cope up with the situation just because of your videos. Thank you so much !! 😊❤
