For the butter grill, you can actually asks the staff to change the pan for a new one throughout the meal too.

If you're from Hawaii, we call this "Butter-yaki". 😂 Usually eaten with lots of family. Everyone goes home smelling like butter.

The butter buffet reminds me of something my family does!(I can no longer partake in it though because of my health) We would have this big griddle on our kitchen table. Then we would melt some butter and cook some meat and vegetables. We'd also have a dipping sauce on the side along with some seaweed~

Thai food has to be the best in the world!

the pork skewer you ate, that's a traditional thai breakfast. you have to pair it with sticky rice. it's the best of the best combination. you shouldn't miss.

Some people are going to bash on me for this but I know you like feedback and not just praise. That being said, I really do enjoy watching you and you show me so many different food experiences that I would never be able to try. The word umami is so overused these days. Umami flavor umami flavor. Can you maybe start the trend toward change? Possibly a new word? Whew. I got that off my chest.

Another reason to visit Bangkok.

This reminds me of when my family would sometimes get beef and/or fish 7 ways in a Vietnamese restaurant, and the best course was always the one where you cook things in butter, except we used lemongrass instead of basil. We did it a few times at home, but it's super messy with the splatters, and gets very smoky. I wonder if my parents have found a new restaurant that does it after they moved since it's not a common offering.

My favorite dish!! I'm also Vietnamese and my family often eats this but with the butter dish only. We use a portable stove with a deep, large pan and lots of french better. So delicious!

The butter buffet is called seen daht for lao folks. Many call it daht seen but my family calls it seen daht. When the griddle comes out, you know it's going to be good eating lol.

Honestly, I wish I liked the insides of shrimp and crab/lobster. I love the meat though. Your videos always focus on the beauty and the cultures. It's so wonderful given the state of things today. I really wish there were smell and taste in videos!

@@hkmp5k it’s going great it’s been 8 days since I’ve been here. I’m on day 9 of my vacation and it’s been great I’ve done so many fun things. But I’ve also tried a lot of different foods. The only thing I would recommend is to bring mosquito bug spray or one of those mosquito suction tools because as soon as you walk outside you will get bitten by mosquitoes
