I am spiritually refreshed after watching today's broadcast. Our new presenter is young, enthusiastic and spiritually centered. I was sad to see a complaint here today. Lloyd Newell was young when he began with this program. Our new presenter is also young and I like the food for thought he left us with this episode. We miss the familiar, yes, but we should be open to changes as they come. I enjoyed Derrick Porte's message and the calm, yet emphatic way he delivered it. I felt the Spirit throughout this broadcast without interruption. For me, Brother Porte is a welcome member of Music and the Spoken Word and I am glad he is here for us. Looking forward to years of thoughtful messages from this gentle soul. Welcome!

Was there in person today with my Mom and Dad. Sounded like what Heaven would be. I would 100% recommend everyone to go and see them live. Hearing them on KZread but you will get goosebumps and tears on almost every song when you're there. I live in New Jersey and most likely coming out again soon. I didn't realize Shenandoah was a sea chanty--maybe riverboat chanty is a better term--until I was in the BYU Men's Chorus under Mack Wilberg, and we sang it as part of a medley of sea chantys.

It was great to hear Bro. Porter’s voice at the start and at the end of the program. I felt his spirit and rejoices throughout the program. The female voice was rather robotic and devoid of spirit. Thanks .

Never have I heard hymns beautifully sung 😭❤❤. The harmony and blend of voices is out of this world.
