7.3 IDI Turbo Sound, Rev, Acceleration - 1994 Ford F350 Crew Cab Dually Longbed Roll a Long Package
Комедия
I thought it would be fun to share a video on my Ford truck that I'm absolutely loving right now. It can tell a house, sounds good and runs great. Hopefully you enjoy this! I would love to know what you think of this truck. Definitely an oldie but goodie and in great shape for being over 20 years old.

Just bought a 92 7.3 idi no turbo version .. love her.. just such a comfortable truck ..

Just bought a 91 7.3 idi no turbo. Runs like a champ, rolls coal, and is a loud son of a gun. Absolutely love it.
The turbo helps a lot on these idi’s. My 93 Idi is a N/A & thought about putting a turbo on it, but being in going for reliability I want to do it right w studs.

I have a 1989 ats turbo runs great never a problem but the pump is not.turned up no smoke or coal I'm running waste hydraulic oil and it stinks but free and the motor loves it
That’s got to be the fastest idi I have ever seen!
I own the same truck, it had 150,000 miles when I bought it. It has 152,000 now. I'd owned a 7.3 before and went looking for this engine to tow my 1ton horse. I love this truck. They dont make them much longer in a regular chassis. Mine's acrew cab, long bed dually. It's been called a beast by tje guys who have had to occasionally tow it. I tried to add a picture of mine, its blue and grey. Couldn't figure out how to do so.
Man. I love the sound of those old diesels
I've got a 1994 f250 with 125k miles on it and its factory turbo ed lxt and custom captain chairs and only used for personal use i fucking love it it starts legit half a second after you turn the key and I get 15 miles to the gallon
Wow I haven't seen another Roll a Long Truck in years! My Grandfather had a 94 F250 extra Cab long bed with that package. I always thought it was one of the coolest factory accessory packages back then.
Damn that was quicker than I expected it to be.
I got a 93 f350 7.3 dually crew cab and man I'll tell y'all the neighbors get pissed everytime I start it up in the morning 😂😅
I just noticed your channel. Awesome 350. you posted this Sept 17 2017...and this is 9/2/20. The reason I am posting this is because (though i sure didn't need it) I picked up a 94 f250 with the same IDI turbo engine you have. Like yours it does run amazing with 210K on it. Lots of low end toque. The day I bought it I had someone else drive it about 90 miles home for me. Bear in mind this was my very first diesel ever. After getting it home I finally got a chance to really drive it. Wish it was a crew cab like yours ...but just a single cab XLT. I freaked out when I glanced down at the oil pressure gauge when it was reading lower than I expected to read. The needle was pointing to about 7 o'clock relatively (on the oil pressure gauge rather than 6:00 + like all others I have seen on you tube. I checked the oil and it seemed to be about 1 1/2 qts low on oil and so added oil. That had been about 2 weeks ago and I noticed that yours did the exact same thing.( though at one point in the early stages of your video 3:18 you mention your oil pressure gauge is not working...but as you start to drive and you glanced to the dash I noticed it moving up. It ended up around 6:00 and then went way down off and on. I have noticed in mine until it gets really warmed up the oil gauge fluctuates from 6:00 to 7:00. Now that you bought your rig over 2 years ago from now I would be very interested in how it has worked for you. Do you still have it? Have you had any oil pressure issues with it? I would love to hear your current status with the rig. I hear these engines will easily do 500K with normal maintenance. They really sound industrial like some big piece of farm equipment LOL Let us know how your truck from a mechanical stand point has been.
Me & my dad just bought one of these for landscaping man these old trucks are monster at hauling
I have a 1992 f350 IDI 7.3 non turbo, and even without the turbo the truck has incredible power. And it’s very reliable reliable truck.
i'm going to look at one of these today, not even close to the shape yours is in but gives me hope lol
Love the two tone and the rear bumper

Nice dually ... Love the running lights ... took me months searching central florida junkyards to find a cluster bezel for my f350 ... Fyi no one makes the rear door window sweeps for crew cabs. So, if you happen to find a set, snatch them up. I found a mint set in a junkyard. 🛠
Get that K&N off of there unless you want a dusted turbo and motor. No bueno for these 7.3 IDIs. Nice truck

I know this is an old comment but he's right I do oil analysis reports on my pickup truck and Blackstone Labs thought I was running no air filter and I had a K&N in it. It just lets so much dirt and dust through for tiny horsepower gain. Needless to say I switch back to a paper filter and my dirt levels dropped significantly in my oil reports
Roll-A-Long. Placentia California. Nice memories working there.
I’m doing a off body restoration doing the whole damn thing new again can’t wait to have it done and be able to drive it haven’t driven it but around the parking lot
i luv those idi!!
Awesome truck man👍🏼
SWEET! Thanks for sharing your video with all of us. That is a very nice truck ya have there. Today I purchased me a 1994 Ford F-350 with the 7.3 Liter Turbo Diesel Engine. The truck was very well kept. I fell in love with the moment I moment I seen it. The engine fires right up with no hesitation and hauls ass... Years back I had this same F-350 but was gas and not the XLT model. After I traded it off for another truck, I sure kicked myself in the ass. Anyway, Thanks again for sharing your video with us. I have subbed your channel Thumbs Up !
NIce rig!! I had one and just cleaned the oil pressure sensor in the engine bay and it worked. Give it shot, I think it will fix your oil gauge. It's on the driver's side in front of the engine.
I have an 89 crew cab dually roll a long. I love it
The craze of black smoke is what what caused the epa to ruin new diesels
i love this... exactly what i am looking for now

I know a guy that put a 2006 f250 6.0 transmission in one of those its awsome

Had a 7.3 powerstroke, and got rid of it to get a 94 idi turbo...cheap parts, no computer, easier to work on..its a 4 door dually too...I love it...the idi turbo is great for towing my camper and has good acceleration....I love mine too!
‘94 was a good year😎
Nice looking old school
Gettin mine on Wednesday!!!
Looking for one of these someday
has anyone with a roll a long package moved the aux lights in the grill down to the front bumper and stuck a regular obs grill in???

I love the idi the best one is with the turbo
Those cabin handles is there a way to still get them I have one pair that came with the truck but I want another pair
WOW - 0-60 MPH comes in pretty fast!

freaking awesome I just missed a 97 ID 350 crew cab none dually hope to pick one up as soon as next spring or so

I love them too, I have a 94 idi turbo, crew cab dually 8 ft bed with the zf5 manual transmission...it tows everything I need to tow and has some speed if I have to get into it
there's a '94 f350 that looks almost exactly like this but it's this dark green, it's 8k and I'm genuinely thinking abt it, it's only issue is that the tranny needs some work, the interior is good, the underside is good, and it is just such a sexy truck, I'm thinkin abt doin a pine green or velvet red interior, but idk yet, truely excited to get it soon
Where’s the grill from? Looks amazing
What motor work was done to it?
me fascina estas camionetas
Lol I just learned that my trans is supposed to downshift when I get on it. It does not, thanks Jasper.
I know those handles on the door are factory. But where can I get them?
Where are you based on America? Looks nice and sunny
Whats tow rating for this truck
I have one of them but i only have 59000 miles power windows on all 4 doors
Hows it holding up?

Speedo was accurate... It was a bit tuned for sure but nothing too crazy. I was a great truck!
Had one in blue/silver back in 1996. Grew up on a ranch and my dad gave it to me when I started my own farm, so it was only two years old. It was the 5 speed manual. The 350 was better than the 250 for the 94 because it had a solid front suspension rather than that twin I beam junk Ford tried. Wish I still had that truck. Growing up Chevy was for drugstore Cowboys and Ford or dodge was for real ranches and farms.

How do you pop the hood with that grill
First off, The oil pressure gauge is nothing more than an idiot light with a needle. That's as far over as it will ever go. Yes these are fast trucks. I own the same truck and I love it. One day I might share a walk around video of it. I would love to have the running boards and the lighted hand bars on mine, they do give the truck a nice look. My 7.3 Turbo Charged Engine has 176532.2on the speedometer. The truck is new to me and I have no information as to if the engine has ever undergone a rebuild. At this point all I can say is, It runs great and and is fast on the take off. The body is real nice shape but does have a few small dents that I can pull out when the tool that does it. I am replacing the cab lights, the tail lights, the head lights with all new ones. Over the years they have became brittle and don't look as nice. Already change out the radio with a real nice Jensen with 10.1 screen, and added an 800watt sub behind the seat. I gotta have my tunes when I drive... LOL So..... Nice video, thanks for sharing with us... Thumbs up, and I'm subbed your channel.

Lasts longer then any new vehicles. costs less to maintain and you can actually maintain them yourself instead of having to pay hundreds of dollars for a dealership to do it and have them mess things up even more so you keep having to go back. On top of that parts for these things are every where and common. On top of that a lot of old vehicles like this share very similar parts meaning you can pull parts from another vehicle and have for yours. Had a friend buy a 2020 Chevy and half a year later it died.
