In all honesty, I hated the whole “apartment” storyline in the last two seasons. Jack was the one who owned it, and imo it was rude for the others to just keep handing it off back and forth to each other. Rachel especially annoyed me when she invited Topanga and Angela to move in after she and Jack broke up. Like, you can’t just kick people in and out of apartments and be like “oh btw I did this”, especially if those people were paying for it.

Michelle Barnhart Women in marriage do it enough to where it’s a running joke, and have the police on their side. So its not stretching the truth if you swoop wife for girlfriend. May be fucked up to put someone out of what was originally theirs or paying on, but it’s something that sadly actually happens. Joke is though, the jokes on them if the other person refuses to put in on rent and fuck up both their credit. 😏

Their parents already told them before the wedding that if they were to get married, they would have to provide for themselves because they’d be in the real world now. When Cory and Topanga asked their parents if they could stay with them whilst they got on their feet, their parents didn’t let them so they’d have the satisfaction of eventually knowing that they made it themselves with the help of no one and it would prove to themselves that they just need each other to get through life, since that’s what marriage is all about
