When both was playing it was debated back and forth who better Peyton or Brady it was dam near 50/50 in those days.. Ummm… his playoff stats are too off-base w/ his regular season stats to be even Top 5 ever. To go from 14,580 yards & 131 TDs in the regular season to 883 yards & 2 TDs in 16 playoff games is probably the biggest differential between regular season & playoffs for any player of his caliber in NFL History.

  • @PedroMartinez-tt7lr

    @PedroMartinez-tt7lr

    Billy Boy - that's what happens when your team inflates it stats by playing most of its regular season games indoors v. substandard defenses. When you get outside in January versus the likes of Baltimore, New England and Pittsburgh it ain't so easy. Especially when Marvin's QBs in the playoffs had 22 TD passes to go along with 20 Turnovers. Take away those aberrational games against the woeful 2004 KC and Denver Ds and it looks even worse. Heck, in that year's AFCC Peyton completed just as many passes to Ty Law as he did to Marvin!!! 😉

  • @P0RKINS2

    @P0RKINS2

    @@PedroMartinez-tt7lr You continuing to stalk me in the replies is a bad look. Manning’s #s targeting literally anyone aside from Harrison being the exact same in every stat as his regular season numbers - save TD% - sort of puts a dent in your argument that Manning was somehow the cause. I’m sure we’ll run into each other again, hopefully by then you’ll have completed your transition through puberty.

    That was Bradys worst year statistically since his rookie year as a starter but with that backfield you can see why his passing stats were down eventhough his PR wasnt that good either. He then had his best season the year after. It was like transitioning from 2019-2020. Ironically his last season with the Bucs mirrors his 2019 season with the Pats but his 2yrs inbetween were statistically some of his best. I was really hoping he would come back and I think he would have for the right team(s) and won another SB on that team. Just imagine if the Jets just had a decent QB.
