6th Sense Whale Came In Clutch At Lake Istokpoga! Florida Kayak Bass Fishing Tournament

Lake Istokpoga is stop number 6 for the Florida Kayak Bass Trail. A lot of good fish were caught out on the main lake but I decided to fish in a un-pressured creek that I've caught fish in the past. Without pre-fishing the creek, I was hoping there still would be fish in that area. Turns out; they’re still there! This time the fish didn't seem like they wanted the Choppo as much but preferred the 6th Sense Fishing "Whale". A calmer approach which increased more bites.
The 6th Sense Whale came in clutch to seal the deal for a 3rd place finish!
I'll be back at the creek to go in-depth on what I saw underwater as well as what I was looking for above the water.

Hey Chris great you tube channel I’m new to kayak fishing I fished bass tournaments in the lake 20 years ago but I’ve been wanting to go back out there with my kayak any recommendations where to launch out of and places to stay the night. Appreciate the feedback back

Thank you! I like launching out of lake blvd on the east side and windy point on the west side. Just depends on the wind conditions to make a choice which ramp I’ll use. As for places to stay the night, I don’t have a clue. I usually drive there the morning of and only fish that lake one day then head back home. Sorry I can’t help much with that part.

Thank you! I just got some new colors I’m gonna try out soon. It was the darkest one they had and I like the dark color soft plastics. Seems to work well in both stain and clear water though. So that’s good!
