I am in CA, I work with juveniles, and it's crazy seeing how Hispanics try to use the word when blacks aren't around but let a black person be in the room. We even have had fights break out over it because someone slipped and said it. I work in the biggest county in CA, and I hardly ever see Mexicans use the word, but they get online acting as if it's part of their everyday vernacular. it is not, and don't let these little comments get ya'll in trouble. Also, 98% of the time, the Black person is justified in the beating he handed out because the N-word is inappropriate and racist. Everyone including black people know this.

I forever will say that HOW you use something and the context with which you use it, determines whether it’s racist or not. Cause there’s too many different types of Latinos there. If you went to Chicago no one says Latino or Spanish people cause it’s mostly Mexican and Puerto Rican and it’s pretty easy to distinguish them from each other.

I grew up in Compton in the 90s and never said it. There was an understanding at that time that only the blacks talked that way and the Hispanics spoke a different way. Back then, you would be considered a “mayatero”. Now, there’s no rules and regulations. It’s anything goes.

These ppl complain about people coming to England & not speaking English & not changing their cultural practices but they do exactly the same thing when in other countries. They (the a$$hole minority) have a huge superiority complex while we Scots, Irish & Welsh are humble and friendly. The big thing now is hatred of immigrants while the rest of us in the UK want to welcome them. It's the reason I never call myself British. I don't want tarred with their filthy brush.
