Took a 6g weld test 3 years ago and got certified with only help from your videos. Thank you Jody
Recently I was TIG welding an aluminum ladder rack repair using my AHP Alphatig 200X. Almost cooked my pinky. Just received my TIG Finger from you. What a great little invention. Protects my finger and provides a smooth sliding surface.
Just wanted to say thanks, I recently passed my 6g test and I couldn't have done it without this video!
Hey Jodi I’m currently in 10th grade in a welding 1 class, with all your tips it really helps me improve and my welding teacher is very impressed!
Your videos helped my pass my 6G ASME Section IX Sch160 2". 1/8" E6010 root and HP with 3/32" E7018 fill and cap.
Jody and Andrew, Thank you guys. Another great video! Be blessed!
I haven’t welded pipe since trade school but I sure do miss it. Thanks Jody for the video. God bless.
YOUR TIPS HAS REALLY HELP ME IMPROVE IN MY WELDING PROFESSION. THANKS. FROM NIGERIA.

Hello Boss Idol watching from Philippines smaw welder I'll need work from your country thank you
Thank you. Any stick welding stuff is great.
Thanks for putting down time and effort to show us good techniques. Oh btw, I love your TIG-finger. I was surprised as to how good it actually works.
Hi Jodi. I look forward to your videos. Man I wish I had these videos when I started welding in 1967! Here’s a thought, why not mark your tig fingers to differentiate them from the knock offs. Maybe color stitching, a stamp, a small pressed clamp style piece of thin metal like you sometimes find holding a new pair of socks together. Wish you the best.
I want to brush up on welding stick with my everlast welder. You are the best instructor ever.
Hi, great practical video. I noticed the welder had the LEV nice and close at the beginning. Seemed to lose it for latter half. With the fumes and gases channeling nicely up the pipe, perfect opportunity to capture.
Thank you for the info on different techniques in running the 6010 root pass! Wish this video was available when I took the 6g years ago. Your videos are above and beyond some other welding vids. Can’t wait to see this stick test finished out. Maybe I’ll get the desire to tack the coupons up, that have been staring at me in the corner of the garage, antagonizing me and try it again!
Andrew is a really good welder I havent seen a root like that since tech school.
Thanks for the awesome video Jody you the man 👊🏻

Thanks Jody
I did the 6g about 15 years ago at a night course, and passed the test. But it turned out i never needed it, so was a bit of a waste of time. The tig was worthwhile though and i got plenty of work out of that.
Good vídeo
I just did my 6G pipe for school but I’m so used to mig since that’s what my previous jobs have done that I keep whipping and dropping dime like passes. I just wanna see how proper stick is done. My pieces don’t break or anything but still.
Tips watch the keyhole and don’t step out too far or too short! And keep the arc tight enough you don’t see light on the sides of the electrode!
Nice video 👍👍👍🛠🛠🛠
My favorit master of welding ❤️❤️🔥🔥🇮🇩
I'm having trouble with suck back issues when I come into a tack. Any suggestions ( feathering tack technique) or how to come onto it?

Say Jodi, when welding pipe, do u always go uphill?

Oh quel jolie métier j'aime la soudure industriel c'est ma passion ❤
i have a question when it comes to interpreting a blueprint or drawings, in my job we are building giant buckets using thick plates but on the welding, specifications require a class B90 grind or B125, C etc etc. do you have any information regarding this?
