Recently I was TIG welding an aluminum ladder rack repair using my AHP Alphatig 200X. Almost cooked my pinky. Just received my TIG Finger from you. What a great little invention. Protects my finger and provides a smooth sliding surface.

Hi Jodi. I look forward to your videos. Man I wish I had these videos when I started welding in 1967! Here’s a thought, why not mark your tig fingers to differentiate them from the knock offs. Maybe color stitching, a stamp, a small pressed clamp style piece of thin metal like you sometimes find holding a new pair of socks together. Wish you the best.

Hi, great practical video. I noticed the welder had the LEV nice and close at the beginning. Seemed to lose it for latter half. With the fumes and gases channeling nicely up the pipe, perfect opportunity to capture.

Thank you for the info on different techniques in running the 6010 root pass! Wish this video was available when I took the 6g years ago. Your videos are above and beyond some other welding vids. Can’t wait to see this stick test finished out. Maybe I’ll get the desire to tack the coupons up, that have been staring at me in the corner of the garage, antagonizing me and try it again!
