This was actually my first method of E-Stop early on, but switched over to the Pause method some time ago. I needed to do alittle fab work for a second button and run some wires. Gives the people what they need to see if they are looking at building their own Rig.
Peace.

Nice!
Very interesting stuff!
Funny that you made it as an instructional video with start and ending, nice work! Going next level ;)

The project has really picked up and there are allot of questions I answer in email, and forum space,... So I am trying to level up my video skills and post informative answers to questions I get... And show the process... The next video I want to do is on making the pcb that controls the rig. I've ordered a new batch and will start when they get to me next week.

@@Christopherknauf Haha definetly will be valuable for other members in the community. Actually discovered you through one of the forums ;) I made a small prototype of a 6DOF but haven't moved forward with my (basic) project. The servo's are expensive and hard to get in Belgium :( My prototype: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eKaBsJSAkdiZh5s.html

@@TheKrotar You Are Well on your way!!! I made my scale version 3 years ago this month. kzread.info/dash/bejne/a3p1xcFso67Qgpc.html I suspect you are looking into building a full version!, its a blast and I use mine as often as I can, chime in if you want to see some more detail on a certain aspect of the build!
Have you tried Star Wars yet? Plugin available now...Did you kill it with the ground or voltage to switch?

The switch opens up the 12v circuit that keeps the relay on, the relay that supplies power to the ac drivers. Ive not tried star wars, but i will take a look today at it!
Hello, I'm onion, your work is very good, I also want to do the same equipment as you. But I don't know the cable connection mode of your ground chassis. For example, the connection of Hall sensor and photoelectric isolation module. And what's the Yellow device on the far left of the chassis? Looking forward to your reply!

The yellow thing is a microphone. The hall sensors are connected to a custom PCB, that then connects to the main microcontroller PCB, for interfacing.
Ok, it took more than 2 hours....making videos takes along time..
