The Cathay Pacific tail fin logo is my favourite as well! The way the Chinese calligraphy brush was used to create this iconic bird in a single stroke still mesmerises me until this very day.

Just like you, I am always at the end of the lounge, so quiet there. Don't understand why everyone loves to cluster around the entrance and buffet? Phwoah... your attire is so formal! Hahahaha... I realised QF has stopped serving those warm meal boxes during meal time flights, very sneaky.

loved the video. Many thanks for uploading. That's the closest I'll ever get to being on a Qantas flight. For the last decade I've been avoiding Qantarse like the plague. I last flew them simply because I wanted to sit on the upper deck of a 747. That was a BNE-LAX flight.

@@JaydenWong Truth be told, due to chronic back injuries, I have no choice but to fly J class. Admittedly, after countless economy flights on 747s amongst others I thought a BNE-LAX and return flight in upper deck business class would be a fitting farewell to the Jumbo. Having said that, there's still a Lufthansa 747-8 calling me to join it! Keep up with the amazing videos. Best wishes from the Gold Coast, Australia.

Hi Jayden? Lookin' pretty "spiffy" for such an early flight ! I always think it's funny when several airlines take off within a couple of minutes of each other, heading for the same destination !😂 I think sometimes Qantas, Rex, Virgin, and Jetstar all need to take off, then line up at 30,000 feet, and then race each other to the destination.... wouldn't that be fun !😂😂😂

Just so I could save space in my suitcase😂 At the international terminals you can, at Adelaide airport, I believe the machines are only capable of dealing with domestic flights plus they needed to check our covid documents anyways :)

Love your videos but never commented here.😆 Can't help it but I definitely agree with you that Malaysia Airlines need massive upgrade on their aircraft hard product (seats, IFE). Can't wait for your KLM B777 trip report to Chicago. The snacks you got on that flight is exactly the same with what I got back on Aug 11 when I flew QF 422 from Melbourne to Sydney, I can agree it's really delicious. Flying QF B737 is solid for such a short flight, but back before I flew from Melbourne to Sydney, I flew from Denpasar to Melbourne with QF B737 (VH-XZC) and it was kinda unacceptable tbh, narrow legroom and yet lavatory is way too small🥲. But strangely, flying on QF 422 (VH-VZM) is much more comfortable than VH-XZC because the seat are much wider :V. Still confused why QF (and even VA) fly their B737 from Australia to Denpasar.

OMG Qantas once downgraded me from business class on the A330 to an aisle economy seat on a 737 from Sydney to Perth 😭They did offer to put me on a later flight instead but I had a tight schedule 🙃

ugh worst nightmare!! One time they switched my A380 to an A330 on HKG SYD. Another HKG SYD flight got the A380 instead😤 I texted Qantas on Facebook about how I paid extra for the A380, they moved me to the A380 for free haha!!

Well done..great report, mate. But.....what crap catering is supplied these days on what is supposed to be a full service airline. Nothing like the service we used to provide in the days of Australian Airlines and Ansett. I worked in the industry for 36 great years.

totally, nothing like what it used to be :/ I remember my first trip to Australia in 2012, Qantas gave out a full meal with meal trays in domestic economy class

20 years ago they only served muffin with tea/coffee for SYD MEL vice versa QF flights.

The cost of an aeroplane ticket must have come down or they have oodles of the folding stuff? :-) I haven't gorne up for years - so I like to watch others queueing up, waiting, going through security, waiting, suffering cancelations and delays....(hehehehe). Haha affordability wise, it’s definitely gone down compared to say 30 years ago! The rise of low cost airlines like Ryanair and Jetstar, and rise of Middle Eastern and Chinese carriers are helping to drive the cost down. Thanks for watching!!😁😁

Where do you stay when you visit Sydney

I guess Malaysia Airlines don't do much with their drinks partly and maybe it's becos it's not in their interest in much due to religion wise reason.
