Hong Kong Airport is one of the busiest airports in all of Asia, and in the whole world, as it features a massive variation of different aircraft and airlines every day! Hong Kong Airport is the hub and home for major airline Cathay Pacific, which is a world-renowned airline serving to 35 different countries across the globe!
This video as filmed in April of 2023 and consists of multiple days of plane spotting that both myself and @TKsPlaneSpotting shared together. This video contains two morning-afternoon sessions merged together with runway 07 in operation for 90% of our time there. However, towards the beginning of the video you'll also see some 25 operations too, which in my opinion is a better, more thrilling shot!
Also one cool thing we both caught was the National 747 wearing their 30th anniversary livery. It was incredible to catch this despite the less then ideal conditions!

All HKG takeoffs tend to have this slow roll in the runway before they speed up. If it was Southwest, they would've just sped immediately lol

I love the 747s including the old ones. it's a shame that some companies stopped using it, but the good thing is, is that some other companies still use the old 747s.

Hey, awesome video! If you don’t mind me asking I was just curious about what camera lens you use because your videos are such great quality. I have seen in your description that you use the Song RX10 and I am looking in to buying a new camera but not sure what lens to buy. I would love to start recording plane videos and you have been a big inspiration to me. Again, great video!

Gday! Cheers for that, glad to have provided some inspiration for this great hobby! Yep I use the RX10 and it comes with an inbuilt lens with a range of 25-600mm. I’m not the most knowledgeable person with lens’ and I’m only really familiar with the Sony range (only lens’ I’ve researched properly because I also use an Sony A7s) but 300mm is a good range for plane spotting. 80% of time that’s the amount I use
