Welcome to the Survival Build Series, where we showcase builds of all types and sizes from my main survival world in Obsidian's game, Grounded! Each build is listed chronologically to show the evolution of the world over time. Each build is also sectioned off into biomes to allow viewers to find inspiration in a specific section of the map!
Build Details: built within the mega milk molar bottle in the upper yard, this spot is incredibly unique due to its complete safety from outside bugs (so long as the entrance is blocked by a door). This means that one cannot participate in bug raids of any kind, so use caution if that's a system you wish to engage with. The most unique aspect of this build comes from the ability to use the glass bottom as a giant window, marking one of very few areas that glass can be used inside a build (in which this spot is the easiest and most beneficial to use the glass for). In addition, with usable sections in both the jar and inside the conjoining cave, there is plenty of opportunity to build for a small-medium scale base.
Unfortunately, the limited space can cause issues with larger scale bases and for those looking to maximize storage and production. Moreover, the jar itself is riddled with annoying "invalid surface" markers, so intermediate builders should only try to build here, and even then they should have patience for the tedious endeavor.
Overall this has quickly become my favorite spot to build due to the unique spot, safe area, and compact design. I highly recommend all players to try and build an outpost here, as it is a super cool spot for base construction.
