Good video and of course your way of doing things and to the contrary I've been doing this since I was a kid 45 years later still doing it used everything from nitrous cellulose acrylic lacquer Dulux Centauri all Sherwin-Williams products RM and Ditzler have used body filler with hardener over bare metal still have a car I did 45 years ago a 71 Lincoln Mark 3 in Sherwin-Williams acrylic lacquer primer sealer and acrylic lacquer paint still perfect to this day no lifting bubbling or shrinking also Clawson claw glaze finishing putty and never used all those kinds of blocks, have an stay of flat boards short long and some flexible blocks also seems like it's all too much of a production and too many different variables and materials these days all very confusing and seemingly unnecessary along with all the different kinds of spray guns on the market I have a few different guns including Binks 7s, 62s Optima, Sata Jet and a couple of Devilbis some of the finest guns ever made some of these guys today don't even own or know how to use an acetylene torch give me a break the internet has produced a lot of Stars that do not have a clue

Back in the day when I blocked cars for paint I used a straight paint stick some of the old big cars used a yard stick. Kind of think there are to many sanding block choices today. All ways cross hatch and follow the body of the car. Sometimes I miss restoring old cars.

These blocks are expensive . Any block will work as long it is straight and learn the techniques of using them . Use lots and lots of guide coat .have fun.

Amazing how you would think at first that that body is ready for colour! I assume there is a part 2 (or more) coming??
