I’ve seen this Tank before and thought about getting it, but every review I read said you couldn’t get a 1/12 figure into it. Thanks for showing that it is possible to make them fit.

I think I caught the same video you did where the reviewer noted that the only issue with the R.C. tank was that the cockpit was too truncated to handle a Classified-sized figure despite being built to that scale. My first thought while watching that review was "you could probably chop that seating area up a bit." Glad to see someone was able to do just that.

Fun fact: A real world version of this tank was used in the G.I. Joe Retaliation movie. Anyway, props for not just sitting around whining about the price of the Haslab HISS and doing something constructive.

I've seen this tank on videos a couple of times. No one has shown how to customize it for 1/12 figures, though. It's good to know the solution to a Has-Lab cash-grab is to make your own tank.

I was looking at this a while back on Amazon and I read the comments, the comment said that it would not fit a 1/12 scale figure. I guess they were wrong thank you again brother. The more cobra vehicles the more merrier.. lol.

I've been considering this for a long time but the scale is small and i was thinking about doing even more mods than you did like gutting the whole cockpit and making it a one man deal and making the front a hinged door. Glaf you showed me that a figure can actually fit into the thing.

Yep, Articulated Ninja that is the tank I was thinking about using as an alternative HISS tank.

It’s only room for one 6 inch figure in cockpit not two. I used the one I picked up a year ago for the mini Halo Spartans. I placed two in cockpit and a missile launcher with figure in back.

Hasbro definitely could have sent the HISS tank to general retail, the demand is huge. Maybe a version without as many bells and whistles and stretch goals will be released in the future, direct-sale or at retail, at a more army-friendly price.

Ok say they sent it to general retail. The scalpers would be the only ones to get them. Then you guys would bitch about that. The point of the stretch goal is adding more value to it. Right now you get three figures or something like that. So that's what close to 80 some bucks additional for nothing out of your pocket. I agree 300 is a bit much but they ship it for free to as well. I'd rather pay for it up front and know it's mine then try and scramble to come up with the money later on. If they sold this in stores it would be 300 bucks. The cheapest this will ever be is now. Nobody is going to sell this for less on eBay. This is the safest way to go around the scalpers. If you want to buy it from a store buy it from big bad. Edit: my bad shipping isn't free. It was for Galactus.

You might want to add tire balancing weight in the front compartment , so it climbed hills without tipping backwards.

I still backed the hiss tank however this is reallly cool to have 2 or 3 of these flanking the hiss tank.

Thanks for making this video. I just ordered for Prime Day and was excited to add this to my Classified collection. But then I found a video that burst that bubble when they said 1/12 figs won't fit. Glad you were able to make it work. I still ordered the HISS but this tank will be a for the JOEs

Wish I saw this before I bought this tank! Now that I bought it though this gives some greats ideas! It said 1:12 but definitely can’t fit 6 inch figure. Thanks for showing how to do it!

Awesome video, thank you! I passed on this vehicle because reviews said it was 3 3/4 inch scale. This video is exactly what I needed to see. I have thoughts of making it into something like a Snowcat or a recon vehicle. A little paint, some heavy machine guns and grenade launchers, maybe some missiles from an aircraft model kit, and this thing should fit right in with GI Joe (or Cobra).

Light pixel count red metallic can make blue lights red. I do thin coats until looks right.

Love the idea of the Has lab Hiss tanks being out numbered by these at least by 2 to 1. You could say these faster and lighter armoured Hiss are the Recce Patrols and QRF support. That makes perfect tactical sense in your numbers with the original HiSS acting as directy fire support. Big fan of the stuff you put on here, btw.

That thing is dope. I was always looking to update my old 80s vehicle to RC but I never had the guts. Now that these 6 inch figures are out. Maybe a company out there can make RC Wolverine for Cover Girl.

I've been urging other channels to get one of these babies, hell even I want one to Batmobile the shit out of it!! Good catch!! Aspects of control for the Buzzsaw I've seen some channels add lead weights and you can purchase metal tracks that can also aid stability at speed so you can climb steep inclines too

Not gonna lie, Ninja, the best selling point of this is the RC aspect. I'll be honest, I'm not gonna get the HasLab Hiss-Tank, for the same reason I didn't get sentinel or Galactus, the price is just insane for what Hasbro is giving and as of right now, we consumers and fans have no idea when items will actually arrive in the U.S. Nothing against anyone that is funding the HasLab stuff, I just personally can't justify the price of these items. Keep creating, keep collecting, and keep customizing. Good looking out, Ninja.

The Boss (aka wife) is already accepting of my RC & figs, but $300 for a stationary tank will be a hard sell. So, this might be win/win. Isn't that what was said about the Skystriker, that was it is too expensive, and then it was funded with over 16,000 backers? What makes this HISS Tank any worse or better than the Skystriker? 5 figures with the Skystriker, versus 2, possibly 3 figures with the HISS Tank? ** Now for the breakdown, that no one wants to discuss......I backed only 1 Skystriker, and it cost me $229 plus tax which came out to $252.41 with Free shipping, and only backed 1 HISS Tank that was $299 plus tax, so that is $80 more than the Skystriker initially BEFORE taxes. After taxes, with the HISS Tank, it comes to $329.24 with free shipping. So, basically between the 2, there is only a $76.83 difference between the 2 with taxes. I did like that HISS Tank that you showed, and I think that it is a great option, but I think that if I can make a 3D printed one, it would take time to make it, as well as the tolerance for the treads, unless the treads didn't move, or if the treads were made from a store bought item, or if they were printed using TPU Filament.

Thanks I was wanting to build a wolverine for the covergirl figure coming out. This would be an awesome base coupled with some 3d printed rocket launchers, man that would be awesome.

I was disappointed with this tank when I purchased it but now that I can just cut open leg room for my joes makes this a 2nd must buy to be sure!

I got the orange version on Banggood on sale for $40 last month! At least two different companies make this tank in a variety of colors the main difference being the way the light bar lights up. I bought the orange version a few weeks ago for my limited G.I. Joe Anniversary 4" Doc figure that has the orange arctic gear. I never thought of using these for Joe Classified. Arrived from China to U.S. in less than 7 days.

This is a really cool customs I'm going to order one I already have it in my cart on Amazon. What Bionicle set did you get the missile launchers and the gun from? You may have said it in the video and I missed it.

You can try a lower amp battery to reduce the power for it so the speed won’t be that fast same concept on them power wheel people do to make them faster but in this case you puting a lower volt battery to reduce the power to the motor worth a try

Nice work on the RC tank. However, the HISS is a great investment. I think you know the secondary market for these will be off the charts. Especially, if 3 figures are included. I see the black ball joints you have, I think you have them glued on there? Ok chris so Lego bionicle ball joint connectors, axel connectors , lego bionicle pin axel red or blue are the most common colors but its doesn't matter to be honest u don't even need it you can just crazy glue the gun onto the peg but that's what all the pieces are call i believe.

I lov ethis thing for GI Joe Classified. It comes in a few color schemes. There is a Jungle Camo scheme that seems perfect to give Covergirl her Wolverine. There is also a white Arctic one that is near perfect out of the box. For the new Arctic themed figures.

It does look cool as a not hiss tank cobra vehicle!
