Elegant decoration! Do you use a deflocculant (like Darvan) in the black slip?

No, I didn’t, but sometimes I found the slip too thick, I’ll add a bit of sodium silicate as a deflocculant.
I have made my chatter tool with a bent stainless steel rib.It has the perfect flexibility for a tight accurate chatter.

How are you drying these to make sure the lid and pot are the same moisture content? The lid is so tightly fitted I’d worry if one was a little more dry than the other it would be loose or wouldn’t fit later. Thanks!

Put the lid with the body and dry them together.
