I am sharing my approach in ceramic field with pottery enthusiasts in the world ,and demonstrating some different ways of throwing techniques. For example, using less water people can throw even without a splash pan, or you don't need to collar sky high to center etc..

I'm sure every potter has their own white whale, well mine is teapot spouts. My spouts always look like a bulky funnel. I'm going to try the Popsicle stick while collaring and hopefully it'll be more graceful like yours.
Unfortunatly, the caméra is not very well positionned
Check my video #506, #507.
Thank you for creating these fabulous videos--I can tell you are a master of the craft. The split views are extremely helpful, with the overhead perspective especially helpful when showing the opening and compression of the floor.
Glad you like them!
Hola hsin chuen lin , usted es mí referente, le consulto si se puede hacer en torno una cajita de forma rectangular. Mil gracias desde ya .
I don’t think you can make a rectangle box on the wheel. You might want to try slab builds method.
what an artist you are! It is my goal! thank you!
You are welcome!
You are a very talented teacher thank you for your tutorial...

I love your work. You explain how to throw or build so clearly. Thank you for providing these videos. Is there a cess to the template for your creamer? Such a clean shape. I would love to try to make it. Thank you again.

How much dry sodium silicate to how much water would be a good mixture? Thank you 😃
I have no idea. I bought the liquid form sodium silicate.
Thank you.
Looking forward to video 811!
The form of this piece is so pretty
Thanks
Beautifull piece!👏👏👏👏👏👏
Merci pour ces enseignements! Tellement généreux de votre part!!!
Hsin, these were great tutorials on how to make a butter bell. I was hoping you had a video how you glazed it. Did I miss it?
I have not glazed my piece yet.
@@hsinchuenGreat! Then there's still hope!
I loved watching this. How much clay did you start with? 800g?
Approximately 1000g
👍👍👍🧡
Beautiful. I love watching you work. What type and brand of clay are you using here?
I used 2 porcelains. Coleman and Glacia mix 2:1 ratio.
I love the design ~ it's a beautiful jar 🥰
Thank you!
Has this rib become available yet? I can’t find it on your Etsy site. Thank you,

@@hsinchuen thank you for answering. Yes that one I have, and am very pleased with it..
I purchased the other “moon jar rib”, but see this one and am interested. Has it become available yet? Thank you…
The one you purchased was the final version.
Why aren’t you wearing a mask?
Why should I? There is no dust produced while grinding because of the water spayed on the diamond disc.
@@hsinchuen I don’t know, that’s why I am asking. I’m trying to learn.
Thank you 🙏🏻

Hsin, i believe i saw you wax over your chattering, etc. Then you put on the underglaze. Does the wax create a problem when applying the underglaze? Thank you.
I usually brush under glazes on the texture surface before wax it over.
I bought this took it is lovely thank you
Omg I need this tool!! Pls let us know when it is available!
What a beautiful looking tool!
Hi, I loved the demonstration; so clear and informative. I would love a copy of your template, as the proportions are perfect for a custard jug. Thank you

Thank you. I love your videos and how well you explain what you do.

Do you have a picture of the final glazed bell?
Haven’t glazed yet.
👍 I made one. It’s drying now. Loved the tutorial.thank you
Beautiful as always. What was the second layer of glaze that you used on the inside of the bowl with the syringe?
It’s the same oil spot glaze. Usually the glaze makes a different look when it is thicker, but not in this demo.

I always enjoy seeing the difference after firing. I used to throw, and it's always fascinated me. Very beautiful!
Thanks
Prachtig!!!

Beautiful Shape achieved. ❤Excellent thrower
Thank you very much!
Beautiful work. Thankyou for showig your glazing technique. Do you mix your own recipe for oil spot glaze? I love it.
The recipe was from internet called bailey’s oil spot. You can get it easily.
What temp are you firing to and is it electric or gas.or wood? I love your work and I have tried to achieve similar, I will get there one day.
I love watching your videos !
