Glad to see you are still plugging away ! If you decided to respray, perhaps set the car all the way on the ground with no wheels. And the top will be much easier to reach. I like the color. Looking good.

Looking Good So Far!!! You Can Cut Those Nibs Out I'm Sure And Don't Worry About The Tiger Stripping It'll Be Hard To See When Not On A Ladder!!! And One Little Run Is Pretty Good If You Ask Me!!! Just Razor Blade The Tops And Sand Flush!!! Keep Rocking It Out Brother!!!

Welcome back Sam..You have worked way to hard to settle for that. Sam check your fan width and move a little faster when spraying each pass. I never sprayed 2 step paints always lacquer or enamel when I was a body man working at Chevrolet. Nice thing is you can really wet sand your clear to remove dust.becareful of the edges they burn quick. Sorry for giving advice but really enjoy your hard work. Stay safe

Sorry to say Tiger lines Too much dirt in the clear You have too much time in that car To leave it the way it is repaint the roof that's my honest opinion So as a auto body Technician I will tell you to color sand Make sure your gun is Shooting Evenly clean it really good if you color sand it, it will only take a light coat of base then lay your clear down wet down the whole garage before painting hope this helps

Hey thanks for watching, the place I was getting my parts no longer sells them. Parts are hard to come by now and more expensive. I would try Classic Industries, Impala Bob's, Hubbard's Impala or ebay. May also do a Google search.

Sam. I know I keep asking questions so my apologies. Is there any pointers or advice you can give me prior to cutting my quarter panels to fix the gap issue at trunk end? I’d love to chat with you a bit prior to cutting if your up for it man. Hope all is well with you man. Thank you.

No problem, I am still trying to find the original deck filler panel. I know I put it in the attic in my shop but got a lot of stuff up there. Did you replace both quarters and deck filler panel? I was trying to find a way to send a private message so I could give you my email and phone number, there used to be a way to send private messages on you tube but I don't see that anymore.

@@ClassicCarOverhaul yes I replaced both quarters just like you however I’m using the original deck lid because it was solid. Don’t worry about the measurements man I can contact dynacorn the manufacturer for that. I have the original to measure. I’ll see if I can find a way to private message you as well. Thanks Sam.

Are talking about the trunk or the filler panel between the back glass and the trunk. I bought a dynacorn trunk that is on the car, I can measure that. I will try and make a video on the trunk measurements and post it

Bro… redo the top. You have to much invested plus. It will bother you EVERY TIME!!! You look at your car. Trust me. I’m redoing mine 1. Year after riding because of that. It’s the only thing I see!!!
