Here's some important points to consider: 1. Along with the fuel vapour headspace inside the fuel tank, the pipes leading from the fuel receptacle area on the car to the fuel tank itself can hold quite a lot of fuel. 2. Filling fuel beyond the autocut point is not recommended since liquid fuel can damage the charcoal-based fuel vapour filter and that would be an expensive repair. Courtesy: Chhanda Das ma'am

Fuel capacity of creta is more then 50 L.. Tried on different pumps in different city..

Basically 50 Litres means upto Cut Off Point

If it happens in my country, the pump operator will be fined and jailed and his company or his photo splashed on front page of national news. As such it won't happen now. However it did happen to me 55 years ago.
