#62 1977 Cessna T210M For Sale - Quick Flight Over Catalina
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This week we present you this 1977 Cessna T210M that we have listed for sale. This T210M is nicely upgraded with a relatively new interior and new Avidyne Avionics. The aircraft has a total time of 3480 hrs and 621 hours on the engine SMOH. 210s are some of the most popular cross-country load-haulers out there and especially the T210M variant is one to look out for.
On our way back to Long Beach we were faced with some thunderstorms that had built up in the vicinity and we got blown around quite a bit on final approach. This shows you how quickly a thunderstorm can form, even out here in SoCal.
If you have any questions in regards to this listing or are in the market for a new aircraft or are looking to get your aircraft sold, please contact me.

Brings back such fond memories... My dad owned a 1978 T210M (N761XT)
If buying planes was as easy as buying cars I'd go broke just from watching this channel. Another stunning aircraft.
I love the sound that these constant-speed props make during take off; especially on cold days.

The gear retraction on Cessna singles has always looked so bizarre to me! But nice video as always. I only flew a T210 once, way back in 1992. It was a rental that I flew from KVNY to KCOS and back. Excellent airplane!

We had a T210 N some years ago now. Beautiful, powerful single. Unfortunately had an engine failure on finals at 450 feet and had to ditch short. Plane was a write off! No injuries.

Nice aircraft. I love the 210. Nice package and paint.
Glad you were at the controls on that landing Rich. I know I couldn't have made it look as easy as you did as you were getting thrown around. Another great video. Thank you.

Thank you - definitely tricky. That sheer to a tailwind is the worst for me - throw in some gusty cross winds and you have a real challenging landing!
Beautiful airplane and panel. Great performance. I ferried one Arkansas to South Africa in 1990. I have a 1977 C206 now. If it wasn’t for my backcountry camping requirement, I’d be in a 210 or A36.
We had one of those up to FL270 to stay out of ice, and it was still performing nicely.

@@FlyingwithRich It's so cool that a 46 year old airplane can be upgraded with all the modern avionics, a modern paint scheme and interior and a classic turns into a modern and fine performing bird. For a 172 driver, getting a hold of a 210 would be a dream come true!

I would really like to see Cessna build these again. Maybe a factory built Silver Eagle. Pressurized turbo prop with retractable gear. I think there would be a strong market for them. Really enjoy your videos!

Beautiful T210 but had to laugh, just a brief picture of your passenger in back. They looked like a hostage, ha. Tough if had the cash, would I want a T210 or Kodiak. Love the name Cessna from which I learned. Cessna 150 in 80s.

This is a nice bird.
Love the sleek lines of the 210. The gear look so spindly and the retraction mechanism seems underpowered. For a while it looks like it couldn't get it up. But all RG Cessnas are like that. It doesn't seem like Cessna is doing anything to improve the performance of the retraction mechanism and to make it smoother. Other than that, it's a great plane!!

Hey Rich, great channel sir!, as my step father was a private pilot and faa instructor for almost 40 years out of long beach and torrance, i wonder if you knew him? thanks t
Nice plane, could have used the extra power on our trip back from Miami due to head winds!!

Landing gear mod also. Looks like a 210N. Book speed does not take into account rear gear door removal.

Nice plane. I could see myself in this. The landing gear retracting looked odd, but I’m not a pilot or buyer. Just an opinion. Interior and upgrades are nice too.

Called the Lame Duck retraction. Since this is a High-Wing aircraft, this method was invented by Cessna and many of their models do it this way, 177RG, 182RG, 210, and 377 (Skymaster)

@@cabdouch thanks. I love aviation. Watch numerous videos and read. I would love to be a pilot, just never had the funds raising family. Now I’m just a passenger. I guess if I were in the market for one, I’d go for a back country bush plane, like a kit fox or a stol. But I enjoy jets as well.

@@truthmarshal6627 Might look at the Vashon Ranger R7 for inexpensive, new, all glass, off-field handling aircraft. I was into flying back before I had my daughter, and now at 61+ getting back into it again

@@cabdouch thanks. I just turned 60. Too late for me to start a new hobby, and too expensive. My friend spent $17,000 a few years ago to get his private pilots license. He flew often for a year or so, then stopped. Now he said he needs to go through training again, been too long. To stay up on skills I would think you need to fly once or twice a week, kind of like riding your horse. That gets expensive when renting.

I am old school, I would need some time with that glass. I flew in an old 172RG, I could probably get 175 on a descent, it was a by the numbers a/c, pilot proof so it flew itself....N631V

The best Altitude for the turbo is at between 8/ 10.000
