The most beautiful of all the GM Collanade Coupes! The Pontiac Grand Am had the best integrated front fascia--a decade ahead of it's competitors. That's the way I would have modified a Grand Am!!! Fantastic execution.

He did such a class job with this car!
I owned a 1973 Grand Am. It was stolen so I bought a 1974 Grand Am with the insurance money. I have also owned a half dozen other Pontiacs, including a GTO and two Firebird Formulas. But the Grand Ams were my favorites. Powerful and fast but also plush and comfortable for long rides. And their styling was stellar.
She is beautiful, the engine sounds superb and choosing pewter paint sets everything together nicely, great job.
Now that is a great build indeed. You are right it showcases a what if scenario. He should really be proud of that car.
The rear view of this car is so cool…the front and rear seats, console and map light are awesome…some perfect choices were made…nice to see something different being done with a LS motor…love the valve covers…sweet car.
Best looking car I've seen in a long time. I'm not the biggest "restomod/pro-touring" fan but under the definition of tasteful there's a picture of this. Absolutely stunning.

Most people wouldn't choose this to retro because most people go along with fads or just copy what others do. That's what makes this build special.

As someone who's owned numerous Pontiacs in their life mostly Trans Am's and Firebirds but I spent my high school years driving a 76 Grand Prix with a 350cid/t350 setup. I've always loved these Grand Am's even though some people consider them ugly and there's actually another one of these that's done up in a similar style but it's a bronze or gold color rolling around the East Coast somewhere👍!

Always love seeing 73-77 GM A-bodies finally getting their time to shine. They're always overlooked and shouldn't be.
In 1988 I owned and drove daily a 1973 Lemans GTO with a 455 as a 17 year old kid. I worked at a grocery store and did a burn out nearly every day as I left work. The nose cone was dry rotted and would crack at the slightest touch. I loved it.

Reportedly, the GA was supposed to be positioned where the GTO had been (style & performance) as Pontiac repositioned the Goat for '73 as a more affordable muscle car. This build really brings out the connection between the GA and the previous generation GTO. Nicely done.
I was 17 when this car came out and thought it was so beautiful and You Sir have taken it to a level it deserves!
