There are NO examples of a 60 year old woman who is better looking than a 20 year old? There is a large spectrum of women in both age groups, where the top echelon of one could certainly beat the bottom of the other etc. Perhaps the assertion was incorrectly stated? Overall, however, 20 year old women are much better looking. As to the second part, I think the author is correct. When men, obese women etc. get the nod over real beautiful women, in a beauty contest, a good looking 60 year old winning certainly follows the trend. One could argue this contest had at least two things right. She is a woman and good looking. If she was competing with women of her age then all would be well once again. We can go back to being honest, though hopefully wiser for the experience.
