Your personal journals will become a great memory of your younger years decades from now! They are wonderful.

Or for the kids and grandkids to remember you.
I enjoy seeing how many things you’ve attached via stapler; it removes the pressure of doing all these fancy ideas to attach the goodies…Nope just staple them in! 💚

I thought the same.
I carry a small pair of snip it scissors. Never know when I'll want to capture a texture moment. I think I've found my tribe here.
So many wonderful ideas brought to life in your lovely journals. Thank you for the endless inspiration! 💖
What an eye full of paper & other mumbojumbo! A paper lovers delight for sure! I got more ideas that I never tire of looking through with you. Your "Artful" way of placing each treasure is unique just to YOU.
"if you are a criminal you might not want to do this one" Made me literally laugh out loud! haha

This is a feast for my eyes! I love keeping souvenirs since I was a child. They are just too precious to be thrown away. I would love to put them all in my future junk journals. I just hope I could have more time to just sit and do some crafting, it's really addicting. Thank you for all the ideas & tips you shared. God bless you. ☺
You are the reason I press and laminate leaves and flowers from around me, I literally would never have thought about it before finding your videos years ago, but especially for me abroad it is especially interesting so I can remember the local flora

You can also press them with an iron and just get the print. Sometimes I put my pressed ones into CD sleeves.
You did well to get through that massive line-up of souvenirs!!!

It sure took me a while! 😄♥️
I feel like this video came in a timely manner for me! I’ve been holding on to so much ephemera-stuff from trips, packaging and lots of other stuff mentioned in your video! Making the time to use it all is the issue for me. I saw your response that when you get busy, you try to journal at least once a week. I really like that idea bc I can’t do daily journaling like I used to and then I feel like I’m behind. Having at least one day for journaling seems a lot more doable! Thank you for the video!
@JohannaClough
2 жыл бұрын
I try not to look at it as getting behind! It takes a lot of pressure off to realise you don’t have to journal about something when it happens, you are allowed to journal about it days, weeks, months or even years later if you want to! I think that’s one of the reasons I love collecting souvenirs so much, because they remind and prompt me to journal about something I might of forgotten to otherwise, even if lots of time has passed xx

For clothing tags, you can use them upside down as tiny pockets-I would put my father's United Rentals 20-yr token award thing in it, but maybe you can also put sharks teeth or a pretty piece of sea glass or something else tiny into it.
You're so creative with "found" things!
Your style has always inspired me as I considered how I would like to keep a journal. I wanted to have a journal, but I also wanted it to capture moments. You lead me a long time ago to my happy place with a journal. I love the inclusion of pictures and all of the personal and meaningful memorabilia that you keep and include! Love your style!!!

I am obsessed with watching your journal videos. I have lots of stuff I have kept from places I have visited, stuff I have received etc., but I'm just struggling with where to start. Also, how do you have so many extra pages, do you stick an additional page in with washi tape?
I Love your journals and all the ideas you share. Thank you
Johanna's new videos always makes me happy ❤
Love these ideas!!!!! Lots of new ones for me! Thank you!!
Really enjoyed this! Sometimes my mind gets stale, so this was a good renew. I do put in some of what you showed, tea tags, stamps, return address , stickers,, etc. Also use those same things for embellishments/pkts, bookmarks when I make journals. Thanks so much!
wow, what an amazing journal. So many memories
Love and appreciate this so much Johanna. Watching for the third time. Beautiful and very special memorabilia and ephemera. Thankyou for sharing and inspiring ❤️

It’s very helpful to see bits of your journals. I keep procrastinating starting journals for myself, as I’ve been thinking about making several journals for different purposes, but I like the way you combine everything into one! TFS. 😃

What length of time do you work in a journal? Also how many journals do you have and how do you store them? Love the sound as you turn the pages!! So inspiring!!
I'm not sure if it's different in Australia, but I think you can still use those stamps but they look cool! Great video!
Your eyelashes look great! That said that's a great list ! Also notice how those white sales receipts fade really fast! In Canada we used to press ( with an iron) collected leaves between two pieces of wax paper 🧡 . When you keep these things , do you separate them into themed journals? Thanks, I enjoy your videos 💖
I love lists like this--so good to review every once in a while! Can I ask, how often do you work in your journal?
@JohannaClough
2 жыл бұрын
Hmm it really fluctuates for me, when i’m busier I tend to journal less. I try to sit down with my journal at least once a week, which really isn’t all that much!
Beautiful 🇧🇷
I keep sweet wrappers and leaflets
