Consider Hagler and Hearns camps for months beforehand talking about strategy and tactics, then both fighters get in there, forget that and proceed to knock lumps out of each other. THE ICONIC ROUND IN BOXING HISTORY 😊😊

True, Hearns' tactics were to try and get Hagler to concentrate on the left hand jab and work from there and Haglers to go to the body and work his way up. But both just threw that out the window and went for it after a few seconds.
Diego Corales' heart and determination brings me to tears. What a warrior

Hearns and Hagler trainers spending months planning tatics and strategies for the fight, for both fighters just thinking "fuck it, if he want to exchange we're gonna exchange" 3 seconds into the fight HAHAHAHA
Not sure how you wouldn't include any of the many insane and memorable rounds that Ward and Gatti had in their trilogy. 🤔

Ashamed that Hagler and Hearns never liked each other. I would have loved to hear a post sit down with the two after all these years.
As we can see Hagler and Hearns were very good friends...
Wait...No Gatti, Ward round 9 from their first fight???? You need to go back and remake this video to include that round.

Totally agree with that statement 70s and 80s best decades and best fighters but I have to mention liston what a fighter and how deadly? I will give you my fav fighter of each division and see if you agree? 1 featherweight I'd say naz just b coz of pure entertainment and punching power? Middleweight I'm going for nigel benn because I'm from same manor and again punching power, then we come to the heavy where I have afew, obviously Muhammed Ali is the greatest without doubt but what about tyson who was an animal and at the tender age of 20? All them 1st round kos then there's Larry Holmes who ruled 4 7yrs,? Evander holyfield was champ 3x lennox lewis was a true champ the list goes on on and a big shout 2 smoking joe Frazier I love joe! 헌즈가 아웃 복싱을 적극 구사했더라면, 라운드를 더 끌고 갈수 있었을것.
Certainly this had to be the most exciting boxing match of all. I saw it at the long shore man's hall in san francisco on video screens that were set up for the viewing. I believe it was 1985. I guess hearns came out swinging feeling this was the only way he would win against Hagler who is now sadly deceased but I have to say those were the last of the boxing days since then boxing has never been as exciting but there were four guys who were popular then Duran Hagler Hearns and leonard and were seen as not a man amongst them if you didn't go up in weight and fight Hagler which all of them eventually did. Leonard being last at it.
I still think 🤔💬 that the Wilder VS Fury knock down count for Fury was hella slow or am I tripping?
The refereeing in these clips are mind blowing. Ref gave Fury a 12 second count, Ref didn’t even take points away from Benn for hitting after the knock down multiple times. Disgraceful.
Hearns would have won if he just could withstand haglers clinching , pushed him off In round one Fantastic match Much glory to both fighters and of course the winner Marvin Hagler 🎉👍

Ref SAVED De LaHoya from Ike smh
If you're gonna show round 1 of Hagler Hearns, you might as well show the whole fight!!!
Wilder VS fury fight in Rd4 was cringeworthy 😂 dude count slow af
There are FAR better Ali/Frasier rounds than the one here.

The outcome of this fight was decided in the first 30 seconds as soon as Hagler realized he could take Hearns punches it was over.
After the first nagdown, when Corales fell and spat out his mouth guard, this freak judge picked it up and threw it back out of the ring. it is very visible.

I was wondering why he did that. Weird.
In the battle of Castile against Corales, there was the most natural circus. Corales should have been disqualified after spitting out the mouthguard for the third time. Okay, it happens once, BUT three times in a row, and during the knockdown, this bastard judge instead of 10 seconds, gave Corales 25-30 seconds. It is clear that after three consecutive knockdowns, it is impossible to restore strength in 10 seconds, but due to the fact that Corales spat out his mouthguard every time, he received a lot of time. and it is clear that during all this time he regained strength. Therefore, in this battle there was frank delirium. The referee is an idiot and did everything to make Corales win. And I think he did it not just like that, but for a good amount of money. Modern Boxing is a SHAME, it's a lie, it's corruption
