60 Minutes of INSANE Boxing Knockouts
Спорт
We take a trip down memory lane to look at 60 Minutes of insane boxing #knockout featuring #mannypacquiao #tysonfury and others.
Next up for Top Rank Boxing, Ukraine’s former pound-for-pound king, the man known as “Loma,” is back.
Vasiliy Lomachenko, a three-weight world champion, will make his triumphant New York City return in the 12-round main event Saturday, October 29 against undefeated contender Jamaine “The Technician” Ortiz at Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.
The 10-round featherweight co-feature sees two-time Cuban Olympic gold medalist Robeisy “El Tren” Ramirez attempt to author a career-best win against former world champion Jessie Magdaleno.
U.S. Olympic silver medalist Richard Torrez Jr. (3-0, 3 KOs), who is coming off a 44-second knockout over Marco Antonio Canedo in August, looks to make it 4-0 in a six-round heavyweight special feature.
Lomachenko-Ortiz, Ramirez-Magdaleno, and Torrez Jr. headline a card that will stream live and exclusively on ESPN+. Promoted by Top Rank, tickets starting at $56 go on sale Thursday, September 15 at 12 p.m. ET and will be available to purchase at Ticketmaster.com.

The first fight when Pacquiao knocked down JMM three times and broke his nose, all in the first round. I was thinking, why is this guy not KO'd, why does he keep pushing forward when others couldn't recover? That's pure courage and willpower. Three fights later he KO'd Pacquiao. What an amazing turn of events.

He lost his power instantly with that knockout. And Floyd’s bitch ass waited Manny out & ducked him for the longest time & only until he sees Manny’s body/career deteriorated like a mfer is when he accepted to fight Manny. And idiots who says well how can that be when Floyd is 2 yrs older than Manny??? The four fights with Marquez and Pacman were so damn crazy. During those years, aside from the first Morales fight basically nobody was able to give manny the trouble like Marquez. To get beaten so badly early in their first fight somehow Marquez was able to get a draw, the next two just as crazy. It was good seeing Marquez get that win especially in the way he did. In fact, if they want to quit but are afraid of criticism, they can back up against the ropes, take a shot to their guard, then fall down or take a knee for 10 seconds and the fight is over. This is not to mention the fact that they have a designated employee watching the fight who can end it any time on behalf of the fighter. Wow! 1 hour of boxing. Thank you for this 🥊💥
Pac vs Marquez was the greatest of all time. There's so many emotions that came with that moment no matter what side you were on.
Andy Lee was very underrated and the best ko of the clip!
12:13 "the referee waves him back in" POW! hahahaha, love it.
25:17 my jaw fucking droped i aint gonna lie
Knockouts back then are better than the knockouts now
Why the heck is Antonio Margarito in here when we already know he got that KO with loaded gloves?!

What puts me in awe is a body shot KO.
I am not into combat sports, that first clip I’m thinkin, “Okay just a matter of time before Manny drops this fool” My jaw hit the floor just like his body and I can only imagine how that crowd was feeling😅

Older box fights....are...BRUTAL...the kind of damage after one k.o. and another and another...and they keep it going...daaamn...those used to be the real Beasts
Watching JMM set up that counter right was a thing of beauty.
That no 3 knock down rule robbed Muhammad Ali of so many early stoppages that would’ve taken so much toll off his body
I could watch these Knock Outs all day and night!

LOL watching these old fights gives you an appreciation of how far the sport has come in terms of skill level.
My boy Manny. Damn. I was upset that night.

Pound for pound boxing has by far the strongest punch, starting at the ground, with the toes digging in, and moving up the body. Well over 900 lbs per square inch. Kinda like getting hit by a Honda at 40 mph. Kung Fu is faster, but maxed out at 400 lbs. My personal favorites is having multiple dudes punch you in the face, while you stand there laughing telling them that they all hit like little girls. 😁👌

That Tommy Morrison ko was insane!!🤯
Wtf was the ref doing in the Mercer v Morrison fight? That should've been stopped about 4 punches before it was.
10 years later the first knockout still hard to watch
Referees in the 70s-80s "if he dies he dies"
0:18 “Manny hits him with an elbow”😮😂😮😂
To the maker of this this production. beautiful! !!!!!!!! Long live boxing. boss I honesty thought Manny Pacquiao got killed in the ring.....the way he went down. ....God have mercy. . Make another one sir. Greetings and love from Mexico
Wild how many of these knockouts are just rolls followed by a hook. It’s so simple but so good.
That left hook SRL put on Dave Green has to be the most murderous explosive left hook I’ve ever seen..

It’s amazing how back then - everyone of the media companies filming the fights really wanted to see incredible knockouts. Like the entire fights monetary value is dependent on exposure - so back then it was worse for a ref to call it too early and potentially ruin a great knockout from happening , instead of calling a fight and having it end in a boring way, and then that ref will never get hired again. Nowadays it’s different luckily
