This was an outstanding cricket side there was 2 other great Australian teams don bradmans 1948 team and chappells team 74 -76 with the lillee and thomson factor, 3 of the best ausralian teams of all time If there was some kind of showdown Chappells 74-76 team great batting side , lillee and thomson around that's unbeatable combination

Great Aussie sides. Doesn’t beat any West Indies team through early 70’s to early 90’s. Those West Indies teams are the best of all time. Beats any Aussie teams and they did. All the time.

@@fred1eful wow. A couple of wins. The fact you know those two wins and years , shows how precious those wins were. And if you googled. Same thing. Anyway obviously I’m over doing it saying every single time, because even that Aussie team which I remember dominating, even suffered defeats against Lara’s West Indies, which was the last stand before the proper downfall of West Indies cricket. The West Indies sides I’m talking originally, are the goats. There’s no denying it

@@fred1eful I’m not bothered about overall. I’m talking the Teo decades from early 70’s to early 90’s, anyone of those West Indies team over any Aussie team. Probably more the 80’s team….throughout the whole 80’s, that team can’t be touched, it don’t matter if you are better in every other decade…..that team is the greatest of all time. Greatest batter of all time viv Richards. Greatest fast bowler of all time curtly Ambrose , greatest swing bowler of all time Malcom marshal 😂 😂 😂 you can have the rest 😂 😂 old fella

Indian cricket team did not break anything lol. They have a good bowling attack but hit and miss batting and they lose the plot under pressure on a regular basis. Not the mention their 2 WTC losses.. This Australian team was miles better and did it for longer

May have of been a great team but played the game in a bad way, with a win at all cost attitude- whether it meant bending the rules. Apart from Brett Lee, Justin Langer and the great Warnie, were all average arrogant blokes.

Just come after seeing some dilemma happening in Indian cricket by BCCI look how Australian cricket manage there Player after 1999 WC win Time after time they made tough call that repay them Gold after Gold & look what BCCI doing with elite mens team after 2011 WC its beyond madness no one is answerable captain couch Player manager selector bored president all shamelessly playing with fan emotions our Player are equally Good as them but they are not manged well by BCCI team management looking helpless for upcoming events 🙏
