DJI osmo action cams do me well, currently using the 3rd gen but they just released the 4th gen few months back. That will be my next action cam purchase. Great fishing as always stay wearin em out now!

@@coursing_thru_life IMO it does me well, and they are a bit more affordable than gopro. I want to say there might be a few pros and cons, but i think it can withstand better temps and deeper underwater. Over all its a good choice for an action cam.

Hey Ty. I moved away from GoPro some time ago. Kept freezing, crashing, losing footage. They simply don't have their software in order. I switched to the DJI Action 4. Been using it for a year now. Never crashed, immediately starts recording, similar image quality. I have a KZread fishing channel here in The Netherlands and as you know, cameras have to work as soon as you have a fish on. Don't want to be messing with these things. Anyway, DJI is highly recommended from a fellow fishing KZreadr. Take care.

Believe it or not , but Vivitar makes an action camera that's under 80 dollars and hasn't failed me yet. It has been great for catching Kiteboarding action. Easy to use and comes with a clear hard case for water action.

What a fun slack water spot! Sadly my spot is underwater right now with the river flood (spring melt in Minnesota) and now it's hard to find anywhere without lightning fast current. Good catches!

I would recommend the insta 360 ace/ace pro cameras, they seem the most reliable in my opinion.

I use the Insta 360 Ace Pro and DJI Osmo Action 4 Cameras. They have never failed me. Even with high-speed racing drone crashes they keep recording as if nothing happened. I see a lot of creators switching to them. GoPro has always had issues but when they work they are the best video quality for the money.

2:59 DJI Osmo action! I used to use a gopro hero 6 black and it always failed due to overheating. I got a DJI and its been smooth sailing since. Also, the low light video quality is way better. Highly recommend.

Dig that beep they just changed over to a new camera I believe by DJI but check with John and he’ll let yea know how it’s going.

I have been using the go pro hero back 11 for about 5 months. No issues except the battery life kinda sucks. I carry a bunch of charged batteries with me just in case.

The majority of Typing patrols videos are of catching big fish

that is a shimano spheroes. It is fast and smooth, the drag has slipped because ive used it for so many years but it is a strong reel for sure.

There is a small creek in Raleigh where l fish.It runs the entire town and it is about 35 miles long.lt has many fish, including largemouth bass and bluegills,but but the dominant fish is the blue catfish and the largest l caught one l have caught was about 34 inches.l don't carry a scale,but l would estimate about it was about 25 pounds.Anyway it is my favorite place to fish.l fish some smaller creeks and they are cool,but there is nothing live Crabtree.
