So many spine shots. If you can afford an outfitter, you can afford a couple boxes of ammo to practice with. So many hunters hunting for trophies and not worried about putting meat in the freezer.

As someone who loves hunting as a sport and takes alot of pride in it, a majority of these shots were horrible, misplaced, or just cruel. So many spine shots needing another one or two just to take it out. That one that the kid shot for example. That poor bastard couldnt run because he got paralyzed. That hurts. Teach the kid how to shoot properly at a non-moving target and how to hit vital areas before taking him elk hunting. Or any hunting. Not to mention how dangerous big game hunting is for kids! That one shot, the last one- The horizon was clear behind it! That one pronghorn could have easily been injured by your shot at the one in front of it.. Eeeeeeeeshhhhhh >.< Hunting can be fun, for food, for trophies, for bonding with nature.. but this is just to shoot animals it seems.

In Europe we care more about the suffering and the pain of the animal. We are very careful and only take shots which we know will hit vital areas. It shows in our animal management compared to the Usa. This is actually difficult to watch, so much pain and suffering. Sure we all shoot bad shots sometimes but not all the time
It is absolutely pathetic that most of these are spine shots. It’s cruel and unnecessary, aim for the vitals or don’t shoot if you don’t have a clear shot. Our responsibility as the hunter is to respect the animals and make a clean kill, not paralyze them and leave them to lay suffering until you can put down a better shot. If you’re not meaning to spine these animals, then you need more time at the range. Oh, and 9:00 was egregious. I understand it’s a child, but if your kid can’t make reliable shots at that range, they shouldn’t be shooting the dang gun.

So many spine shots you have to be a better hunter and respect the animals and take better shots
11:45 that was a crazy bow shot
God some of these shots made me so freaking sick. Those poor babies. They suffered. A true hunter does their best to make sure it’s a clean shot. Yes you will have times where you miss judge the shot and hit wrong. But these people weren’t even trying to make a clean kill. They just wanted to shoot something. Disgusting. This is why hunting has such a bad rep. I was raised in the woods. Hunting with my father and grandfather and this… this is not how it is supposed to be done💔
11:45 , it's a classic archery shot, making people admire its madness and class.
Wow Moose and Elk are some tough animals. I knew that already but this solidifies it. Shot placement and bullet/caliber choices matter so test your stuff.

I'm an Aussie who has never hunted before but loves watching some of these hunting videos & get to see all the effort that goes into all of it, just curious why you don't aim for the head/brain
@BoldBoyWeather
8 ай бұрын
Some people will aim for the head but most of the time most hunters like to keep the head as a sort of trophy so we shoot through a soft spot just above the leg for a nice, quick, clean kill
@Ftw9195
8 ай бұрын
FYI- the only effort put in here is the trek to their location. Seems like there's no effort at all at where on the animal theyre trying to shoot. No head shots, as bold boy said, save for trophy. But i'd say a proud hunter would shoot for the vitals, quick kill, and less chance of ruining the meat. A couple of shots here were taken with the animal either facing towards or away from them. No patience for a broadside shot. Watch videos on skilled hunters, and check out shot placement.

@@Ftw9195you have clearly never drug a deer out of the woods does it look like any of these people have ATV’s out here? I couldn’t imagine packing out an elk or moose. Hunters do more for wildlife than any other “tree hugging” peta loving person out there. Without hunters there would be massive amounts of issues. All these kills were not “clean” but these people are human and make mistakes. Most people don’t have the means or ability to train like a sniper to be dead on every shot every situation give ‘em a brake buddy!
The hunting I get, for food. What I find disturbing is that a few of these hunters find it funny taking a life.
Some of these clips piss me off. If you don’t have a good solid shot. Then don’t shoot. No reason to be shooting an animal 3-4 times! Solid shot or don’t shoot!

1:30 The man here is very far from the spirit and ethics of hunting. my grandfather was a very old hunter, he had 40 years of hunting experience, he used to take me hunting with him many times, I saw him shoot many animals, we used to set up tents in the river beds and wait for days because we knew that the animals would come to drink water and in many foothills We also hunted and I just watched and saw dozens of prey drinking water. My grandfather would never, ever shoot an animal while it was drinking water. When I asked him why, he said it was our compassion that separated us from the one at the end of the barrel. A real hunter would never, ever shoot an animal at its most vulnerable moment. We are superior to animals and that is why we must respect the prey. A buck is always worthy enough to deserve a proper death. hunting is not just about shooting at the target in front of you. if a man thinks so, he can be satisfied with dozens of video games...
