I have 6 longfin albino corys in my new 55g tank and I'm wanting 6 more of another variety. Of course the gold laser is gorgeous, but the orange Venezuelan is nice too. Now I'm looking at the duplicate cory which is so cute. There's so many to choose from. I'd love to have a big tank with a huge school of corys. Right now I'm loving the way my longfin albino are swimming at all levels and not just the bottom like my pandas in my other tank. Of course the pandas do the darting up to the top occasionally, but tye albinos will swim right along with my platys.

Funny enough, just before reading this, we ordered 10 gold lasers and ten orange vens, must have read our minds, lol. the Longfin Albinos are awesome, we dont currently have any longfin, but def should.

@Aquadiction for now yes I've changed my mind...I wanted to start a 20g long and have those fork tails in there, but I don't have room in my bedroom for another tank. There is a perfect spot in the living room for it next to the 55g, but my roommate who's also my best friend doesn't want another tank out there. I'm slowly trying to convince her. I might offer to pay for a new couch because she really wants a new couch and see if I can bribe her with that...we'll see

Good choice

In the US the Tail Spot Cory’s (hastatus) are impossible to find. I have kept these in the past and would love to get my hands on them again. I keep and breed the other 2 types of Pygmy Cory’s.

When i stock my 250g, I'm now thinking just a huge school of 40 to 50 purple emperor tetras, and at least 20 fairy corys. Then a pleco of some sort, loaches and a few oddballs too

@@Aquadiction I definitely will use soil so it can be fully planted. Well, maybe just sand. I'm not sure yet. The good thing is I've got plenty of time to think about it

I have panda cory cats, they are perfect for my tank. I would love to try Fairies, but I've never seen them where I live. If I had a bigger tank, I would love the skunks, too cute. Thanks for the video, for making the corrections, for reloading with even more corydoras. Be well

Hi, I’m from Italy so..sorry for my bad English! Anyway I’m searching for a “right “ cory for my acquarium. I’d like to introduce some neon and a couple of apistogramma Ramirezi and a group of Corydoras but I don’t understand what is the perfect temperature for these species of fishes. I suppose is around 26 Celsius… but I’m not sure! Is Julii Cory (with neon and Ramirezi) ok? Please can you help me? Thank you very much.

Hi Rachele, your English is better than mine, lol! Most corydoras are VERY hardy, and we have kept them at 23c to 33c without a problem for many years, not sure if that helps at all. We currently have 14 species in the fish room at around 24c-26c and haven't run into any problems! They will go well with any peaceful community fish and even some semi aggrieve like barbs!
