a personal note on him being so hard on himself: my best mate is from ireland, and i live in australia and he commented that a lot of europe and the uk always put themselves down in order not to sound arrogant, and are self-deprecating by nature in comparison. he reckons americans and australians are alike in the way we arrogantly self-promote ourself. its all jokes really. just another part of the worlds humour

It’s crazy how close my progress in graffiti is to yours, like a lot of my early pieces look very similar to yours, I even wrote pieces for sheva (one of my favourites on KZread) and sive who I never really thought was amazing tbh, I was also always into cursive and done a lot of that, it sort of brought me into tattooing I was drawing roses and all sorts, it’s mental how much my journey was similar to you, iv done the single letters the big backgrounds everything over the years, watching this honestly took me years back remember pieces like yours. I never stuck into it as much as you have with other things like boxing being my main love and me never painting. It’s also weird to say but I applied for art and got stuck in a pottery class and that made me not like art as much I got bored of it. Iv done graffiti all the time but not consistently. My friend died and I started to sketch his name a little now but this has been a brilliant piece of inspiration thanks.

Been into the Graff scene since 1983, and I gotta say, I really enjoyed this video and your style really improved!! Liked and subscribed!! 👍

I had an art teacher that expected me to be able to do the same thing as the people who had been in art for 3 years and it sucked. I basically just sat through class and did the fundamentals. I did learn a few things, but just those few.

I’ve been drawing since I was 9 and I’ve been bombing since i was 14. I absolutely love graffiti I’m obsessed with it and always will be. From good ol bubble letters to wild style love it all. I loved your first two books, I used to draw graffitis back when I was younger and my stuff used to look the same. Even made those cutouts from magazines and put them onto my blackbook. Nice memories !

I remember my early graff days, using 08' 228s and home bargains markers, benching all the time, making homemade markers and using big chunky bingo markers filled with black ink, great times.

My first couple of book are sketches that looking back aren't good in my eyes. Thats only because compared to the work I'm doing now they are so far in terms of structure and style.
