6 World Cup Gold Medallists Vs 15 Insane Boulders
Day 2 of an amazing training event at Rockcity in Hull, United Kingdom in March 2024.
If you haven't seen it already then check the Day 1 video here:
• Worlds Strongest Climb...
On day 2 we revisted the '1 minute / 2 attempt comp' with levels 1 to 5 of Balance, Coordination and Power.
In March 2024, Rockcity and Serious Climbing Distribution kindly provided a training camp that included some of the Worlds best climbings holds that were expertly set by B-Pump owner Katsu and renowned Climbing World Cup setter Tsukuru.
There were strong Japanese, German and GB climbers that included no less that 6 World Cup gold medallists.
Climbers included Sorato Anraku, Miho Nonaka, Yoshiyuki Ogata, Daiki Sano, Alex Megos, Yannick Flohe, Max Milne, Hamish McArthur, Jack MacDougall, Jim Pope, Erin McNiece and Toby Roberts.

Such a great climb, it was great to watch 💪🏼 thank you!!
This video and the last one are the missing content on KZread and something that the IFSC should produce on its own instead of only focusing on competition. Please keep those coming and show us how friendly this sport is.

Your slab climbing is phenomenal! I remember watching a vlog from one of the world cups last year and you mentioning slab wasn't one of your strong points. The work you've put in definitely shows when looking back, you're evolving into such a well rounded climber! Banger content as always Toby, could watch these commentary style videos for hours on end

WHAT A VIDEO! So many cool details in both the climbing itself (as well as the setting etc..) but also the production of it is silky smooth. Really enjoy the commentary, especially the moments when you point out things to learn from the specific boulders: interesting to see a more in depth analysis. Alex's side line was very funny (and not that inaccurate). The 'weird types of training' montage was really cool to. Please keep making these kind of videos. And thank you for inspiring me in my climbing.

Such a killer style. As a viewer I loved the pace, and it was cool that Alex Megos was just one of the guys in the video--it was low key but also had star power in it. Anyway I hope this blows up.
Incredible video!! So cool to see the best climbers on the circuit all training together and the commentary is so entertaining 😂 thanks for sharing and keep up the great work toby!!

Thanks a lot for making this beautiful content Toby! Have been watching the world cups and see you improve so much over the last few years. Good luck for the Olympics! Rooting for you! Also, what a beautiful sport climbing is. Where you can hang out and have fun with the people you're also competing against. ❤

Your channel is such a wonderful outlier amid the rest of climbing youtube. for a top (the very top) level athlete to be producing content that as poetically articulate as this, from a perspective as rare as yours, while managing to maintain relatability-it's pretty unbelievable.

You're all very inspiring. All the best for your training Toby! Those were some genuinely super interesting looking ways to train haha.

Heyy Tony All the on-sight camera recordings are in stereo 2 channel mode, (left ear). You can change it to mono in camera so you dont have to manage it in post. But you can also select the channels of audio in your editing software. So it doesnt into 1 ear only : )!
