I actually think - or personally I would assume - that he said he’s a trump supporter because of fatherhood is to protect his rights as a father. At least that’s how I interpreted it. Unfortunately a lot of liberal organizations are trying to take fathers rights away (ie NOW). So that’s what I thought he meant
