The thing about listening to your gut/inner voice, and reacting to a situation in a way that makes you safe is that most of the time you won't know if it was an "over reaction " It may have been just the right amount of reaction that saved you.

@@AsTheRavenDreams i have epilepsy ,ptsd ,Depression,insomnia and night terrors from my childhood trauma that is why I suffer PTSD now that is why I’m so grateful to have found your channel because these KZread videos help me to relax enough every single night as I’m listening to your voice

I love being subscribed to this channel, but I also love mercilessly judgmental squirrels. This is such a difficult choice, Raven! I think I’ll stay subscribed and just pray that the matrix glitches out my bullies and stalkers for highly judgmental squirrels! This would be a substantial improvement on all accounts. Also, that is excellent advice you gave about responding preemptively when you feel something is off. I’m sure it has saved me from disaster. I actually have some stories about that I should really edit and send in. Thank you, Raven!

My ex stepdad used to have this whistle that he would do. If you heard it, you would think he was in a good mood but it usually meant I was in trouble for something as soon as mom left to work the night shift. I get PTSD when I hear anyone whistling

These were pretty good. Usually not my cup of tea but these were good. Went to Jersey Mike's today to pick up lunch. Well, there is construction going on everywhere in my area. On the way home someone had stacked up these construction barrels to look like it had limbs and and a head and put a scary mask on it. So funny. Hope your day is good. Love and lollipops.

New sub here, can your audience please include the age and sex of the person it happened to. It's hard when the listener can't figure out if it's a woman living alone or a man etc changes the whole perspective of the tale. Otherwise, great stories

I kid reacting to a "voice" in his head to avoid being possibly abducted... easy for me to accept. There are 3 "explanations" that could apply from the OP's mention of a guardian angel, to the still paranormal a ghost warning him, to the more "rational" explanation I used for some of my experiences... That one is: our subconscious mind is more aware than we are on the surface, hence "gut feelings", and if part of your mind senses danger it warns you in a way you'll "listen" to. Whether that is a gut feeling or an "imagined" voice telling you to move. My rationale also explains the gut feeling the others felt before/during their encounters.

Definitely several possibilities- but I do tend to agree with you on that. Instinct is a powerful tool

Your child needs school clothes, but rather than going to the store in town, you go to the neighboring town (that you never go to) that has a reputation for trafficking at a much higher rate than all of the neighboring towns. Wtf?!
