That second pink dress is so gorgeous on you in my opinion. Sometimes the fit of the dress will override the color. But you look amazing in everything!!

Especially with the new hair color

it doesn't fit TODAY, it has to go. No waiting until you lose weight and then wearing it. We know those tend to just get pushed to the back of the closet. Also, I'm definitely with you. We have a similar skin tone and I have come to recognize that deeply saturated colors look best on me. Anything pastel or paste-y brings out a grayish tone to my skin that's not flattering. Color theory on your skin tone with hair color is definitely important.

Hi Angela, I totally agree with you. My only concern is that you want to dispose of the red shacket because it is scratchy. Please send the shacket to the Goodwill. Perhaps the next person may not have a problem with the fabric. There is far too much trash in the landfills now. This item is not going to decompose for years.

Agreed! I try to sell my old items on mercari/poshmark. If it doesn’t sell in 90 days then I donate. I NEVER throw it away unless it has a stain or hole

H&M has a recycling program and there are other companies that will take old items and recycle them so we don’t have to throw away any clothing

I did declutter my closet just in the last 2-3 weeks ago. There were some items I have outgrown so it was time to bless someone with them.

Hi Angela. You gave me great idea to start cleaning out my clothes closet.

First things first. The hair is everything all day every day. You look amazing, sophisticated and edgy. Your style has always been on point. I have never seen you in anything that doesn't suit you. Very helpful video. I have a signature style but over the years I've stepped out of my style lane and have a wardrobe peppered with regrets that I feel unable to get rid of just in case... My declutter approach thus far has been to put stuff in plastic bag which I store out of sight. If I haven't returned to the bag/s in 3 months, everything goes to charity. I cannot be asked with the possible to and fro of selling online.

It's amazing how we see things differently than the person wearing an item. The 1st dress was beautiful on you, even the color, the one you like, the 2nd one did nothing for your body shape/type at all. The mustard color jacket was lovely as well, but I understand if the quality isn't there. Angela, I wanted to reach thru the screen at you about that big leg purple outfit. Well, I try to do this every 10 years (should do it every 5). What I do with things like that red and black shacket is take them to a women's shelter. If it is in good repair, ladies there can use it.

One of the tools I use to streamline my closets is, I asked the piece when was the last time I wore it. if it knows when I plan to wear it again? Or if I haven't worn it in a year, and I don't have plans to wear it this year, it gets the boot. Now of course, Some pieces don't go with that filter because they are eternal, if you know what I mean 😆. I know, I need therapy😂

The #1 criteria for me is - does it still fit? If it doesn't fit and it hasn't fit in over a year, it's got to go.

I started going through my wardrobe last night and started small with socks, tights & knee highs lol. This will help me when I get into dresses, pants, etc. How do you decide what to do with the items that must go (donate, sell/consignment, throw away)? That's my 2nd challenge once I've decided what to get rid of how to quickly get the items out my house.
