I'm so glad you enjoyed the video, Premila! These are definitely super achievable for any space & any budget!
I have to agree that rugs transform every room. A room with beautiful furnishings will look bad with no rug. And I can’t thank you enough for mentioning reupholstering. I am amazed at how many people get rid of decent pieces of furniture because they no longer like the “color” or dated print. Yes reupholstering can be pricey but it is still cheaper and much more sustainable than buying a new chair. I am definitely into sustainablity 😀
Lovely ideas! Thinking of adding moldings one of these days! 💕

I love a good mirror! I need to get into plants. My dad has a green thumb and is always trying to give me something. Question:. Do different styles of plants go out of style? He wants to give me a long hanging plant but I don't see it in any recent designs. Thanks
Thank you so much Nina! I am going to try and keep the rule of only using 3 items on my coffee table.

Hi Nina, this is a really good short and sweet video. I think my favorite upgrade is adding molding to walls and ceilings, etc. I’m just always blown away by it when I see it done well. The new home we are going to move into unfortunately will have some kind of textured walls. I hate that builders do this. Would you suggest waiting on adding decorative molding until I do the soul-sucking work of smoothing out the walls first? I’ve heard it can be done by smearing joint compound on it but it’s definitely a project. Thoughts on this? Should I just stick with paint for now? Would love your expert take on this!

I've been considering applied molding for the dining room. I initially wanted to wallpaper the walls but we did the ceiling instead and so the walls need something much more subtle.

Yes it’s a great way to transform your space!
Good morning. Great video. I do love the lamp next to your egg chair . Where am I Lille to source such a love lamp ? Thank you.
As always Nina, I love and appreciate your videos. Do you have any suggestions on where to look for fabric or place to get swatches ? It seems like most fabrics that have to be ordered are 35-65 per yard. I am told there are tariffs and fuel surcharges. Any thoughts or suggestions ? Thanks again❤

Great question, Lisa! I recommend visiting local fabric stores that sell fabric in-house, that way you'll be able to negotiate pricing. Going directly to a design showroom or website will be much more expensive. I hope that helps! Thanks so much for watching! ❤️
Love this video! I wan to repaint my house and i would like to paint it a soft white. A neutral colour. Any recommendations?
@NinaTakesh
2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I recommend "Simply White" or "Pure White" which are both by Benjamin Moore or "School House White" by Farrow & Ball.
Paint or refinish furniture is how I have been transforming my home lately. We moved last year from a tudor/English type home to a modern beach bungalow and some items just did not look right.

Painting can work wonders, so glad that's been working for you! ❤️
With a neutral carpeted bedroom would a rug be advised or do you normally hold off with carpeted bedrooms?
Based on this video, I'll have a couple of arm chairs reupholstered!
I love mirrors. It’s a problem

Where does your last name originate? I’ve never seen anyone have a similar spelling with the same pronunciation as my family.
Hey Nina. Highly inspired by this episode. Am personally looking for myself to transform my home completely. These tips will be really useful. Apart from this video i have always noticed these 5 points by myself in your overall videos. 1. Have seen neutral mostly white paints your videos in walls 2. Mirrors i know how much you appreciate. Also have already noticed your wonderful brass framed mirror. It looks fabulous 3. Your rugs are really amazing. And I appreciate you for partnership with a reputed Rug making company. Will surely check out your coupon code for extra discounts on it. 4. I love ❤️ plants and I love you more for loving plants and adding nature in your projects. Will surely add them as much as I can to bring life to my home. 5. Re-Upholstery is surely a great thing to transform your space. I recently reupholstered my old dining chairs and they do change the look of dining area now. So surely a great suggestion. Well, apart from above tips since i completely want to renovate my house will surely need more advise and would love to have a consultant like you to transform my house completely from Inside and Out. Please pray for the best of it. Also I do follow you on Instagram regularly as I love everything that you are doing to make people’s home beautiful just like you. Lastly like all your videos, you looked amazing 😻. Big fan of your highly attractive looks and classy personality. Lots of love always 🇮🇳
