I'm from Srilanka, and i love the USA, I'm so proud of it's accomplishments and contributions to the world, now! America is certainly not perfect, it has a history of mistakes and today bad leadership is ruining it, but i hope and pray everything changes and gets better, God bless the United states of America.

So I support our relationship between our two nations. Not to mention our nations history and its reputation to one another. I support both our militaries. I served in the 10th mountain division 2nd combat battalion. I served in operation Anaconda in the Afghanistan campaign for 18 months. I know marines who have tried out for both and can tell you personally the hardest one of the two were that of the Ranger school of the Army. I have a complete list of them actually stating this fact. The principle for this post was how large of the force is comparable to any other. I have respect for both of the branches it is of lack of respect to think any other way about it period! As an E-5 SGT IN the 10th mountain division 2nd combat battalion who did two tours in Afghanistan during operation Anaconda and was wounded in the left knee. I'd say all branches did a damn good job in that shit hole. Respectfuly stating the facts Sir. HOOAH!!

The US already spends as much money each year in taxes for healthcare as most other industrialized countries. We then spend about that same amount of money for private health insurance. So we spend twice as much money as our allies, but we still don't manage to cover everyone. It's because of our absurdly kludged "system" that ties healthcare to employment, an artifact of the peculiar situation during WW2. If we replaced this mess with a single payer plan, we would literally save $1 trillion dollars a year!

As an American we can talk about the superior equipment, tanks, air craft carrier, but you also have to factor in the alliances the US has made. NATO and with Ukraine fighting Russia not only for their survival but to use western weapons and tactics to do so. This is cost US around 6% of their budget and gotten their money's worth in showing how weak Russia really is as a nation. The big military competitor NOW is China. Smaller countries like the Philippines that used to have US Naval stations that were abandoned have now opened back up to ships and air craft carriers. They know they can't compete with China and with China wanting Taiwan and doing so can control essentially the Pacific trade route, countries like Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Australia have run to the US for protection and making an alliance just like NATO did to the Soviet Union. If you go at it alone, you are going to be on an island all by yourself as Russia has found out.

Ill say this because we always fight or get involved in others conflicts, we constantly develop new strategies to stay ahead. Now Russia probably not all that big on warfare like they claim to be and i will also say the same for China but thats just talk. I will say in directs to conflict most countries do not want conflict with the USA because of our political and economic influences across the globe. Thats really the first big reason. The only other reason there could be is getting physically involved with us and at that point.......... good luck and God speed.
