6 Months of Hair Growth - Phase 6 of Growing My Hair Out

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Has it really been six months of hair growth already?!?!?!
Hey guys and welcome to my sixth monthly hair growth check in and well, I actually feel so scattered writing this description right now lol.
I’m working on quite a few projects at the minute which ultimately makes me happy. I just have the tendency to take on too much sometimes & I guess that’s why I feel a bit scattered.
But nonetheless, I’m actually feeling quite fulfilled with everything I’m doing at the moment. My full time job is pumping right now and I’m learning SO much about digital automation which really interests me aside from hair so scattered or not, I’m actually in a really good place right now.
Anyway, now let’s get to the part we all came for, our hair growth journeys! Here’s the breakdown of how my month went.
00:00 - Intro
00:16 - Pu55y Duty
So, I got to take a little trip down to Sydney this month to look after my sister's catS. That’s right, not 1 cat but 2 cats. For any of you who aren’t aware, integrating or introducing 2 cats who have never met each other before is an extremely daunting task especially if you’re not already a cat owner and have a really busy schedule.
However, I actually really ended up enjoying my time there and whilst I was there I made a new video about how I’ve been maintaining my stage 5 & 6 hair.
If you missed the video, you can watch it here: • Awkward Stage Hairstyl...
03:23 - My New Billion Dollar Look
In this segment I had finally arrived back to the Gold Coast and checked in with another fresh new awkward stage look.
In all realness, it’s not really a look but it kinda is… You get what i mean when you watch the video lol
05:42 - Let’s Get High Together
In this section I was testing how my curly hair turned out with an over application mousse. I’m testing so many different things right now and this was one of them. Unfortunately I didn’t get any shots from after I scrunched but I’m sure I made up for it with the drone footage…
Man than thing is wicked. I can’t believe how tight the AU government is getting with drones. Honesty, it’s like they don’t want anyone to have fun haha.
07:47 - The 6 Month Measure
As per usual, you’re going to need to watch right to the end of the vid to see how much progress I’ve made this month haha. I also had a really good reflection this month just about how it’s so easy to let the state of our hair depict how we feel about ourselves. I got a little self conscious towards the end of the month and I covered a little more on that in this section too.
13:13 - Fin
Thanks again for taking the time to keep up with me. Make sure you let me know how you’re going with your hair growth journey in the comments and I’ll see you next month for check in number 7!
Yours in good hair,
Thomas In Action.

I am driving my girlfriend nuts by asking her every day how my hair looks. I started growing it March 2020 and in December I started growing the sides and back. My hair is thick and curly like yours so it’s really tough being confident with a new look. Now I understand why guys need an influencer like yourself to keep it growing. It’s not easy but I just keep envisioning the outcome 🤞. Thank you Thomas for your videos, they really help me a lot.

Wow I'm in exactly the same situation! Thick (but wavy hair), started growing top since march 2020 and back and sides in December :) plus I keep asking my girlfriend too 😂 because every stage has a new challenge to overcome, and each one discourages you. It's helps so much having people like Tom so I'm not alone on my journey!

Thomas' videos helped me. I'm at 15 months. The hard part for me was the flying ear ends at 6-8 months- no matter what I did, they curled up. My hair become fun at 10-11months (if thats even possible) and now its ponytail/manbun/whatever the hell u call it, so its really easy to handle. Just bear thru it. Its gets awesome at 10-11mo :)

Thom, I can't believe it's been a month since your last monthly check-in! Wow. Love seeing your progress... your hair looks fantastic!! Thanks for sharing that bit about being insecure going to the dinner party... It's good to be reminded that no matter how far along we are in the journey we can all have those moments, but that we just have to power through them. 🤍🤙

I just commented on your last video that your looking good with your hair but I also think that wild look suites you as well Thomas, I like it, it looks good on you. I always look forward to your videos cuz it keeps me inspired when Im having my bad days where I keep thinking about chopping my hair off. Stupid thoughts sometimes go through my head so your videos keep me on a positive track, so thanks for doing these videos I really value them. I've been growing my hair for about 7 months now n its starting to do its own thing so your last video was really helpful, cheers. Still might have a trim over the summer sometime. But I need a good hairdresser who's not going take a lot off. Anyway. Keep it up mate, I always look forward to your videos. I live in England so been fed up with all this lockdown rubbish over here, so your videos keep me going. Take care mate 👍

I had my hair long all through middle school and high school, and kept it long until I was 23. I always had my hair cut into an emo/scene cut but ended up cutting it because my girlfriend had complained for so long about it and so I've had a fade and some length on top for like4 years now but you've inspired me to grow it back out. I've been growing it for a while and just used the pandemic as an excuse for the passed to months as my reason whenever my girlfriend asked about my hair. Surprisingly I told her this week that I'm growing it back out and her response was literally "omg I've wanted you to grow it back for a while now I'm so happy I miss your long hair!" Needless to say I'm happy that shes accepting of the change, but on the other hand I'm annoyed because I probably could have grown it back a lot earlier had I known she missed it. I don't think the emo/scene look is coming back into my life but I'm so excited for the journey to having long hair again. I honestly forgot how fast my hair grows because I usually got my fade touched up weekly even during 2020 although it had become biweekly by then. Your videos have really inspired me lately to go on this journey, so keep doing all the good work you do.

Hehehe our hair is kinda the same type bro, getting to stage 5 here. But.... Lately people is starting to judging me because of how do I look, and honestly it hurts because it's the people closes to me and they also know that I'm growing my hair, instead of supporting me, they just want me to cut it out or just say "your hair is not meant to be grown..." And they make me look so akward and ashamed and it's so frustrating. Recently my very best friend is my cap, and I use it literally everyday, everysince I go out, and it's the only way I feel safe to be judge this days... I'm still strong and confident to keep growing my hair, but also i'm looking for ways to runaway or just hide... That's my reflection for my last month of growing my hair, now starting the stage 5
