I have the same curly hair texture as you and I remember the struggle in the akward stage where it goes from wavy straight to thick curls, I felt embarrassed about my curls so before getting this photo taken I straightened my hair 😭

i got my hair essentially razed right around the time you cut yours so I've basically used this as motivation to keep growing mine out, rn it's ~15ish cm and i want to at least get it to my shoulders

I gave up on long hair. My hair gets bunchy/fluffy. It looks bad. So I cut it. It was down to my chin. And I swim. So it was difficult to keep my hair healthy.

@@kadash7126 I'm assuming you don't swim for multiple hours a day. The pool water is very damaging to hair

@@kadash7126 leaving pool water in hair can make hair fall out. The chlorine is very harmful. So washing it multiple times a day to once every day is not good for hair on top of pool water.

Lol I started out with more hair then him by a couple inches and he ended up still yet another couple inches longer than me...if only I didn't get forced to have haircuts so often lol. I have to fight it as long as I can before I inevitably get taken there each time.
