Keep an eye out on Craigslist, Offer Up and places like that for your plates because you can find some unbelievable deals on Olympic plates there. If you're looking for a new set the cheapest one that I usually see is at Dick's Sporting Goods and it's the Weider 300 lbs. Cast Iron Weight Set with Hammertone Finish. It's usually $299 to $349.

Solid review bro! Just picked this combo up and the dip bars are solid, great add on. Yeah the lay attachment is a no brainer.

Great, honest review. Folks get caught up wanting a big name brand cage and never lift to those max capacities. I still have my bench from 7th grade, I am over 50 now. It was mid-grade budget when I bought it, and still have it in fine working order. I am sure you will get all the life you want out of that cage.

Great video, I hit like right away. I don't usually comment. I am waiting for my cage to be delivered. Of course I think I am smart, heeyyy I am a pharmacist. So your video was especially enjoyable after picking the same cage you have. I had a more solid cage but it didn't have a lat attachment and I have a very small room to put it in. Hey Vern thanks for turning me on to the fitness reality dip handles. They really do make quality stuff. I already had a different brand cage, but they work just fine on it. your video was shot well man. I know most people don't appreciate how a video is shot, but I for one do. the audio quality was definitely appreciated. The B-Roll footage was a plus also. Just wanted to say you definitely gave me a different outlook on the cage, I've been considering it for the past year and haven't pulled the trigger because I'm also considering titan fitness power cage which is a few hunted bucks more expensive. But now you have given me a better look at this one.

The power cage with the lat pull down is $528 on Amazon prime right now. I’m most likely going to go ahead and buy it since you sold me on this equipment! I’ve been wanting to finally start building my home gym since I’ve been getting tired of going to the gym and every equipment being taken up. The power cage with a lat pull down is something I’ve wanted to do bench press, shoulder press, squat, deadlift, back, triceps and biceps and your review on this power cage is just amazing and completely sold me on it. On top of it, it’s not expensive right now on Amazon!! Now the only thing I’ll have to keep doing my research on is weight plates and finding the right price. I've got a major DYI upgrade video to do and I'm hoping I can do it before winter. It's not going to be a hard build but I think I'm going to need multiple shooters to video it. It's a really good add to the cage though.

Perfect review bro 👍 I am getting the REP Fitness PR1100 I looked at the specs and it's Damm near the same thing. It's a little more expensive but not by much. $359 total instead of $299 but I like to hear info on comparable racks. REP is like the cheaper version of Rouge Fitness. Quality products but way cheaper. Plus they offer free shipping on all of their products as of a month ago.

I live in Canada, so this cage will cost a little more for me, but I think would still be worth it. Public gyms keep shutting down and people are getting sick, having a home gym is definitely the way to go. Thanks for the great review.

Those are the same reasons that me and a lot of other people moved to the home gym. Once you're setup and ready to go you see just hot much more practical it is! You're gonna to love that cage. Are you getting the cage alone or adding the lat pulldown attachment too?

Superb video brother! Just bought this bad boy an hour ago on Amazon for $250! Well technically $266 if you include tax but the shipping was free lol so still fantastic value at the end of day. I also bought this rack too because of the amount of variety it can create and as someone who wants to get recertified as a personal trainer later this year - I believe it'll make me a better trainer going forward. Ha! I'm vaccinated but I get it Mike. Hopefully things will start to settle down again and they won't need to shut it down like that but the cage is still dope to have at the flat. I've got a bunch of videos on that cage so if you snatch one up check em out because I've got some DIY's that will save you some money.

Wait I never thought of bench pressing in the cage. I’m always hesitant of maxing out without a spotter. But putting on the safeties would solve that.

Honestly they don't even have a name on the side. I got them used. The Olympic plates look like bumper plates but there not. They are Weider Olympic Plates.

@@chanada8447Yep, It's not something that I've done once, It's something that I do regularly and yes it's smooth but you can't use a ton of weight and it doesn't feel the same as a cable puller system.

For the lat attachment, can you use full sized plates? Ie. a 45 pound plate, I know the weight capacity but wondering if the dimensions of the plate matter? Thanks in advance fam

Most definitely Daien! I'm using Olympic Plates on mine but you have to buy a couple of 2 inch adapter sleeves to put em on properly. It's goofy but the lat pulldown comes with 1 inch plate holders.

Have you had any issues with the 3" hole spacing? Debating if paying an extra ~$75 for the Titan T-2 is worth it for the 2" hole spacing.

Hey man thanks for stopping by. I have to be honest I'm not sure what that means so I assume the answer is no because that cage has been solid for me! I've had issues with my Sunny Health and Fitness Cage because the holes are not 1 inch standard holes so I can't use any outside accessories with that cage.

You’re welcome! You definitely made the right choice. So many other brand attachments work with it too. The uprights are true to 2”x2” uprights.

This is a good cage. I kept mine and just upgraded it. See my upgrades on my channel.

Hi Vern. I am very interested in adding the cable attachment to my 810XLT super max power cage (I said the whole name). Looking at the pictures, I think my bench will interfere with the pulleys permanently mounted on top of the lower cross member bar at the back of the cage. Any chance you can comment on this and provide a measurement from the floor to the top of the pulley? Not sure if a different bench will work, or how you work around this. I bench press inside the cage, and the legs of my bench go under the rear support bar and the bench surface goes above the rear support bar when in position for bench press.

@@UsawaFitness I ended up buying a universal kit cheap. It has two pulleys and a couple cables, Plus chains and straps and attachments. Fraction of the cost. And good enough. And I don’t have to worry about things not fitting. But thanks for the help!

Man I'm really sorry I didn't get back to you in time. It was defiantly going to interfere with the way you use your bench. What kind of bench is that you have? We were curious as to how the legs stuck back so far.
