Tommy Emmanuel is one of the very BEST guitarists I've EVER heard in my life. I had the opportunity to see him live once and even did a meet & greet with him as well. I had him sign my acoustic guitar and we took some pics...great experience all around as the concert was AMAZING as he's is absolutely PHENOMENAL live! Great video! :)

Sometimes I just let my fingers loose and they do what they want and I'm surprised how good it sounds. I've been playing for 40 years and there's a definite mental/physical release where my brain stops "thinking" and I just feel the music and my fingers do what I feel. Beginners won't understand this but after decades of playing it's like you hear something and your fingers just start playing it and you become one with the music. Like a connection between your heart/spirit and your body where the thinking part of your brain is bypassed. Those are the times when playing music becomes magical. Finger picking for me does this.

Hello there Mr. Paul Davids, To borrow this moment, I have just recently followed your YT video’s , and will join the “acoustic adventure” course I am very excited about. I had some trouble sharing comments on the mini samples you’ve offered and wanted to comment here. 42yrs old American/Japanese raised in Japan, leaving my guitar collecting dust for 10+ yrs, and my oldest daughter, 13 this year wants to learn. A little research brought me to your channel, and thank you, you have 2 new students now 😉👍🏻 Love the way you teach , Arigatou gozaimasu 🙏

It takes time and effort but it has helped me to improve and get exposure to a wide variety of styles and techniques. I would highly recommend getting the pdf of the tabs printed which allows practice without having to login every time. The videos tell you what to do, then it takes time with the tabs to get the hang of it.
