    I use all these products PLUS Matryxl 300. An added dose of peptides (can't go wrong)! I also use EGF's. Overuse of retinol, Retin A and exfoliating greatly diminish the skins barrier, so using the ingredients you mentioned is a must. ❤

    I have a very sensitive, rosacea skin. These last few days, my skin barrier is compromised from over-exfoliation. Unfortunately, niacinamide, particularly in formulation of >2%, tends to irritate my skin. So I'm looking for other healing products with no or less concentrated niacinamide content. So far, K-beauty products you've recommended have helped me a lot. Thanks so much!

    Another amazing video & new products I want to try!! I’m wondering if you’d consider doing a best of make up video? I love the way my skin looks after my skin care! It’s so glowy! I don’t want to cover up the natural looking glow & highlight. I have rosacea & have found I do not l need as much make up since I’ve been doing my k-beauty skin care routine!! Ive just started playing around with just using a base & cream blush. I love Holika Holika jelly dough and Misshas Magic Cushion. I just ordered Etude House face blur... I’d love to hear your recommendations for a face base, foundation, & blush for dry skin! As well as easy to use & fast eye shadow and mascara! I love the idea of a eyeshadow stick but so far I’ve thrown away the two I’ve tried. As always, thank you, Kelly!!!

    Niacinamide, panthenol, peptides, amino acids, beta-glucan, antioxidants... these are all ingredients that I definitely look for in my beauty products. I am not using any product which main focus is niacinamide, amino acids or peptides but when one of them is there it's definitely a huge bonus. My main source of panthenol is currently the olivarrier emollient cream which is a very good match for my skin, and I believe its soothing and moisturising properties are at least partly due to panthenol : it made me decide to order the tia'm toner for some more panthenol. I also use the iUNIK beta glucan serum which seems very good at keeping the hydration in my skin. I have however found one downside to this product : it seems like it tends to pill up with the next product when I've used too much of it. For my topical antioxidant I am currently trying the The Ordinary pycnogenol serum. they say it's a very good antioxidant for dry and dehydrated skinned people as it selectively binds to Collagen and elastin to protect them from free radicals damage. I just started trying it though, I can't tell about the results yet

  • @KellyDriscoll

    @KellyDriscoll

    4 жыл бұрын

    That olivarrier cream is a great source of panthenol, it very nearly made this video! I haven't had pilling with beta glucan but I mostly mix it with a few drops of facial oil so that might be why. That ordinary product sounds really promising, you'll need to update me on what you think of it!

    I really look f,orward to your vids Kelly. Big thank you xox My fave current Niacinamides are the... Loong list lol Pureheald Galactomyces First essence, Nacific Phyto Niacin essence, Sidmool Dr Troub skin returning Niaten serum, and my ole fave Manyo Factory Galactomyces & The Ordinary serum. I rotate them, as my poor skin has gone from plump n juicy to cracked and red from the bloody swimming! LOVE my blue drop. If you come across any other Asian Beauty with copper tri-peptide please do a video on it! Sidmool do a panthenol ampoule but from what i have read, it needs to be mixed as it is sticky on it's own. I love Sidmool, some stellar products in their line including creams jam packed with peptides. Not AB but The Ordinary amino acids & B5 is a dream for skin that is compromised. I've used the Ordinary 10% niacinamide serum for almost one bottle, and as much as I like the effects of it, I feel like it makes my oilier moisturizing layers to ball up after using the niacinamide😕... So, at the moment I just want to keep as many niacinamide containing products in my skincare routine as possible, and just hope they will cover my niacinamide needs when I'm done with that Ordinary product... I just dislike seeing the skincare products balling up as grey substance on my face. I wonder if those are exactly what Euni Unni describes as "lotion boogers"?!🤔😄

    It's a hydrating texture and can double as a toner but that's not the exact goal of the product, it's more of a first essence to help your other products absorb better. So you'll get some hydration for sure and depending on your needs it could be enough, I personally like to pair this with another toner for my thirsty thirsty skin.

    Great informative and resourceful video. Tried purito essence and loved it. Tried iunik beta glucan and realized one ingredient isn't going to cut it so balance of various ingredients is key for sure. Have you tried cos de baha yet? They have several of the ingredients you mentioned in toner and serum formulas. Also at affordable prices.

    Could I use the Vita B5 toner and the purito essence in the same routine? And if so, which one should I use first?

    You can! The purito goes first since it's technically a first essence which is designed to help your other skincare layers absorb better!

    I usually do! All of these products (minus potentially cream skin) are good for all skin types! Cream skin might be a little rich for oily skin.
