They like to eat spinach, celery, napa, carrots, etc ....

Budgies can eat just about any vegetable. Fruits as well, but slightly less than vegetables, due to the natural sugar content. Budgies diet needs more than just seed , to provide them with the most nutrients.

@@Bird-Songs Spinach should only be fed no more than every two weeks. It leeches calcium. They should not be fed celery or iceberg lettuce. It causes crop binding. There are lists of safe foods online. Please look them up. Just because they 'like' it doesn't mean it's safe. Carrot, kale, broccoli, romaine, green leaf lettuce are much better choices

WHAT GREENS DO YOU HANG IN THE CAGE? THEY ALWAYS SEEM TO LIKE THE VARIOUS SELECTIONS & My BIRDS WOULD RATHER EAT MY PLANTS THAN THE ROMAINE LETTUCE, KALE & SUCH THAT I HANG. THEY ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY EATING MY PLANTS AND EVEN SUCCULENT LEAVES 😫😫, No matter WHAT I DO, THEY ALWAYS SEEM TO GET TO.THEM BEHIND MY BACK. PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS would be very much appreciated! Thanks for the videos as well
Be "very careful" of letting them eat "your plants" as they can be "poisonous" to parakeets. Especially NOT Avocado. I feed mine romaine and curly lettuces as well as raw broccoli tips. I always look up on the Net what to feed them.
That cage is terribly tiny.
