1- Waking up earlier 2- Practice gratitude 3- Do not give-up 4- Daily planner 5- Listen to your gut 6- Being honest All are common suggestions but the way you delivered is special. We can feel the honesty👍
A habit that has made a huge difference in my life is to rely on myself. Whether it’s changing out a set of taps, installing a new light fixture, working out a budget or taking out the garbage, learn to do it yourself. There is real freedom in knowing that you can fix things, do things and not be helpless. Gender based chores have left people unable to do half of what is necessary in life.

I completely agree! I love doing things myself. Installing blinds, refurbishing furniture, hanging pictures, all kinds of things. It's a good thing to be self-sufficient 👍
One thing that has changed my life over time is making an effort to communicate with the people I come in contact with in daily life ... in a friendly, natural, and appreciative way. This includes telling people why and how you appreciate them, giving genuine compliments, limiting my interactions with negative folks, and making more of an effort to be a “helper” in life.
Night time cleaning routine. Getting a load of laundry started, dishes caught up and the house picked up before bed. Being a mom of six and a wife to an amazing hard working husband having that fresh start in the morning is an amazing feeling.

Ah yes! Those are wonderful habits! Having a fresh start in the morning really is a great feeling xoxo

Rachel Cischke Aswell you will be setting a great example to your children who will learn from your methods how to live a happy well organised life.
Being honest and standing up for myself in a confident not aggressive way has changed my life. I was a people pleaser, too generous in lots of ways and taken for granted. I won't be walked on anymore by friends. Even our retirement, meant that we were both retired so tasks are shared. No resentment as a result. We're enjoying life as 'seenagers'! Jx

"Seenagers" -- I love that! Being honest (in a respectful way of course!) is truly life changing. It's made such a big difference in my life! I know exactly what you mean :) Thank you for sharing Joan.
A habit that's changed my life is batching. So basically that means doing a bunch of ditty and potentially annoying tasks all in a row such as sewing, dishes, calling the bank, etc. Ah it feels beyond amazing when you get a bunch of those "need to get around to them sooner or later" tasks all done in a row!

I've not heard of this strategy before! I'm totally gonna try it. xx
One of my favorite sayings is: A big shot is just a little shot that kept shooting. That is one of the cornerstones of my life as well, never give up.
@meghanlivingstone

Love that. Never ever ever give up! :)
I love point no 3! I'm constantly feeling like I don't progress fast enough/ one step forwards, two steps backwards and just the feeling of constant struggling every single day. It feels good to hear that others sometimes struggle with that as well.
Drinking enough water. I'm amazed at how many others things in my day I'm more successful at, if I JUST drink enough water.

Amazing, who knew drinking water could make such a big difference! :) xoxo
Hello Meghan. You were right on point explaining “doing what’s best for you”. Listening to your gut is respecting your inner wisdom. While caring for my father several years ago, he left me with a parting sage quote. I stay tuned into this quote on a daily basis and share it when appropriate. This is one of those opportunities. “Take care of yourself, do what’s BEST for you, and don’t jeopardize what you have built for yourself.”
I can say that being honest with myself made my life more practical and effective. Sometimes we can get lost in life losing track of what we are and what makes us happy. Being honest with ourselves and knowing who we are make life easier and lighter.

Absolutely, I completely agree. Something as simple as being honest in what we say, what we do, and how we live, can be life changing. xx
Thank you for sharing Meghan. Sometimes I forget to count my blessings instead of thinking of focusing on the negatives. Just not giving up. I will keep pushing forward♥️
Gratitude is A BIG thing I need to put into practice.

It's such a simple thing, but making my bed every morning has been huge. Leaving my bedroom clean, neat, and organized every morning starts a daily avalanche of motivation to keep the rest of the house clean and organized.

YES, Being honest is the key to success.
Keeping a bullet journal and structuring out my day has helped me so much with keeping organized and for planning and archiving goals I set for myself! It's a life changer and so much fun to work on too! Great video, thanks for sharing 🙏

So many people have mentioned the bullet journal to me! I think it's time I look into it more!
Thanks a lot !! other habits that change my life are: avoiding negative people (-) don't spend much time with social media because almost people there have fake life eating healthy and sleeping early (9 o'clock)

I’ve just started watching your channel Meghan and I love love love your content! Can you do a video on daily planners/how you use your daily planner to stay organised? Love from London xxx
Thank you for sharing openly your experience 🙂 a habit that has changed my life is welcoming every emotion and part of me with compassion and love instead of judgment and rejection. It is an on going practice and it is one of the best change of perspective I could give myself. Love is powerful 💛
Thank you for sharing this ❤

I'm going through a tough season in my life and your videos are encouraging. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and optimism :)
I started implementing night time cleaning routine. I do dishes, floor cleaning, mess cleaning, folding clothes, keeping toys of my 14 mo baby organised before going to bed. It is just a week and I feel very refreshed because of this. I wake up in the morning very fresh and I no longer feel burden of daily house chores. Thanks dear ... You are touching my life and making very much needed positive impact. Cheers to you. Keep inspiring. Loads of love from India 😍💕❤️🎊🎉

I’m so glad I found your channel. Love your vibe and your info
Thank you for sharing. Keep the videos coming. 😃
Thank you for sharing these. ♥️
I felt so blessed after watching this video, I realised how strong I am and how I can be more stronger, at the age of 13 I'm already on my second life because my immune system is weak and I easily get sick and catch a virus . I'm still under recovery at the age of 14 after catching the same virus for the second time that it became severe and made doctors say that me being alive is a miracle , I'm so happy that God gave me another chance to live.
I love this video and I will be sharing it. Thank you so much
I woke up this morning(ish) in between a bass drum and a guitar amplifier, next to two women I barely recognized. After reaching for a Marlboro I turned on your latest video. Thanks for the post. I’m chipping away at a healthier lifestyle.💋
Thanks for sharing, Meghan. One of habits that changed my life is practicing meditation.
Meditation and Yoga are habits that really changed my life ! Thank you for this awesome video! Those 6 habits are absolutely important!
Great video and great tips :) just what I need to watch on a very bad day. Thanks!
I like to make a gratitude list each morning. I really enjoy your videos, and your attitude towards life. Live one day at a time!!!

Gratitude lists are so wonderful, especially in the morning! ❤️ Thank you xoxo
Meditation! I have what the wise ones in Buddhism call a "monkey mind"-my thoughts are all over the place to the point where I get stuck. I find that taking 20 minutes to meditate cleans the static in my mind and I can go on with my day. (Some meditations are also great for sleep!)
Thank you for all the great advice. :)
Trust your gut, that one is so true : ) you have such positive energy. Thanks for sharing.
Came across your channel today and I feel so refreshed after watching it. I used to practice most of the stuff mentioned but recently I don't know why - I just sort of strayed away and felt like life is stagnant and starting to question myself why am I not as good/successful as others. I am very glad that I clicked into your videos - they reminded me to have positive vibes/mindset towards life. Thank you and you're amazing!

Thanks so much for watching! We're often aware of these sorts of things but it can be hard to put them into action -- glad you enjoyed the video :)
Love the video I think it’s very important xx💗
Well said👏🏻being honest.Keeeeep posting videos like this💐
I just found your channel, I am home because of surgery, and I found you I am a new subscriber thank you
I relate so much to your healthy habits, your views on beauty and your simple approach to life. I love the way you make your videos, very pretty, incredibly helpful and minimalist, but comforting. I really feel your passion and your gentle personality. I am grateful for you to share your own journey on natural health and wellness as I am too, making this wonderful journey. I have so much habits that changed my life, but one that helped me a lot on many aspects is slowing down, allowing myself to live at a slower pace and not feeling guilty about it. It's helps so much to enjoy the present moment and feel alive, where I realize I am okay and everything is alright :) I often feel disconnected when I see others going so fast and being so impatient, but I wouldn't go back for anything. I prefer to be a serene and happy turtle!

Slowing down is such an important point! Especially not feeling guilty for it. It's so easy to feel like we constantly need to be busy. Thank you for sharing! A great reminder to be present :) xx
I think the last habit should be 'Being Authentic' rather than honest in my opinion. It conveys more effectively what you are trying to emphasise.Just being true to who you are and giving an honest and free expression of it in the world.💟
You are very inspiring!
I love your videos as someone whose recently realized that I trully need to work on my mental health ur videos are so heart touching ❤❤ watching these types if videos help me in continuing to help myself 😢❤❤
WOW, everyone of these is so wise. I am sharing this and so many of your videos with my children and friends❤️ Honesty and authenticity GRATITUDE 💚 Listening to our guts/ INSTINCTS💙 Personal agendas/organization Early morning rising 🤗 Perseverance 💗 These are all advice I have given my children. Another that I believe is so important in our ability to LIVE a rich, abundant life, is to be OPEN in our minds and hearts❤️ and accept all that life gives us. It’s that ability to see the obstacles as gifts the universe gives to guide and teach us💜

great video! Habits that have changed my life in recent years: Mindful meditation mainly for anxiety problems - I realized that the majority of our feelings start with a train of thought and your body eventually responds to it. Control your thoughts = control your emotions .... and be more present. I learned this through an MBSR course. Changed. My. Life. And possibly saved it. Other habit is stop self comparing. I believe it is one of the biggest killers of joy, at least for me anyway (for me stopping Facebook helped tremendously because you know everybody's life is perfect on FB, right? lol, although I peak once in a blue moon). The one habit I'm working on currently is decision making - I am absolutely awful because I over analyze things. Once again great video! .... Now to binge on your other videos, LOL. (I was initially brought here through watching house plant tours (purely informative of course, lol)

Comparing really is such a huge thief of joy. Thanks for sharing that point. All the habits you shared are fantastic -- I totally agree that if we can control our thoughts, we control our emotions. xoxo
