Hey man, kind of a lengthy question but I'd really appreciate some feedback here. I'm looking for a face to face or Webcam poker coach, I'm seeking a coach for at least 6 months to a year, once a week preferably. Do you offer that service or do you have a suggestion as to how I would go about finding that? Love all your content man, thanks for all you do! Cheers -Kyle

#5 C-bet w AK; I can see it because you can rep all the overpairs as the pre flop aggressor but that really isn't our range on the 10-5-4 flop. If that 10 wasn't out there giving us a backdoor broadway draw and the opportunity to bet any J, Q, K or A on the turn it would be a check. A 4-5-7, 6 or 8 flop would be a suicidal C-bet vs a flat call pre.

Nathan, You are a star mate! Well explained! I agree with all your recommendations! Really great stuff! If you want to win playing poker you need to put in the hours and stop thinking you are the best! You are only as good as the cards you get and how you play them against the right players! It's as simple as that!

im finding it takes a turn bet to get AK through on a dry board as most just call you on the flop as they know a C bet is almost compulsive..if you check back on the turn they bet the riv normally

In the first example, not sure how a tight player would make it to the river with A9 or J9 when the flop was 367 rainbow….but I get your point - aces are a clear bet fold

@@qsdailydose8970 Same for me, but microstakes opponents are notorious for being calling stations, especially on the flop. It may be a matter of bet sizing on the flop (smaller for bluffs, larger for value) or of needing to double-barrel against "turn honest" opponents. Either way, the answers lie in your database (bb/100 in multi-way pots when c-betting is a filter you can set).

I've seen professional poker players in their blogs are in violation of your recommendations. They mostly bluff and play weak starting hands. Are they selecting the hands to show because they think that makes it interesting for ppl to see? Your points make sense to me statistically and in human behavior.

I wouldn’t put villian on J9 or A9 in the first tip as those shouldn’t be calling the flop of 763.

I’ve seen lots of players call a flop cbet with two over cards to the flop. But I’d agree, players who play a hit or miss style of poker would fold if they whiffed the flop.

Yep, mine too. The beauty of microstakes is that the losses in those small pots where you “give up” are far outweighed by the massive wins with your made hands against that same fish.

Every time I take your advice I lose. You're trying to recruit and train people to be fish. Some things you say are valid, but "only play these hands" this means you're blinded away into obllivion and as soon as you do bet, everyone folds. The nit has pushed forth chips,!
