In the 1981 one my mom was the girl in the blue and even had that oven and gave it to me with all the parts.I loved that thing as much as she did

I had the 1992 one. One of the coolest toys ever!!

We had the 1992 & 2004 one! I remember making them with my sister & actually tasted amazing!! Haha so many memories… kids nowadays just be using the real oven 😂😂

I think i have the 2015 one, and I don't use a real oven.

I remember going to Toys r Us with my parents and having them buy me refills😋😅😋 I can still taste the mix. I specifically remember the chocolate brownie mix because it had a delicious candy like flavor😋😋

Ahhh Toys R' Us, sad the modern generation will never have the shear wonder of being a kid inside "The biggest toy store there is". One time when I ran out, i get out the regular cake mix, made a huge mess mixing, then baked a single tiny cake and wasted the rest of the batter. Mom was not impressed. 🤣 Thanks for watching and sharing some memories, always appreciated!

Same, it looked so cool. My parents didn’t think it would work though so that’s probably why they didn’t buy it.

Yeah definitely don't remember the biscuit mix, but makes sense. It did get to 350 inside so you should be able to bake most things (mini lasagna anyone? 🤣).

Definitely liking the different tv with different decades of commercials

The 1963 one made bigger cake than the 2021 ones

I got one as a young boy and only made the brownies from it. But this was the late 90's so... Took 2 - 3 hours to bake with that lil bulb.

Exactly. Show them how to mix and measure with ingredients that they can pronounce. Cooking is the highest form of chemistry.

I had the 1992 version growing up. But I gotta say I really love the design of the 1972 version the best. I also love how the cake mixes come in small boxes so that the girls playing with them can really feel like their baking something their mothers would.

The really didnt want to spring for the light bulbs. I had one of these in like 1995

I got one for Christmas in the late 2000s when I was maybe 7 or 8. It came with two cake mixes, but my parents didn’t want to buy any extra ones. So once I finished those two, the oven was used as a makeshift storage bin until we moved to a new house and threw it away. 😂

My older sister had one in the late 90s / early 2000s & I only ever got to try it once cause the bulb blew out & my mom said it was dangerous lol

There weren't many changes between 1993 and 2004, aside from the "Queasy Bake" coming out and the short lived 2003 model that no longer used a light bulb. Thanks for swinging through and dropping a comment!

Funny thing is, back when people claimed they were dangerous, homes were full of 100w lightbulbs and bad things rarely happened. 😂 About the worst that could happen would the lightbulb breaking into the mix and then the cake wouldn't cook so you couldn't eat it anyway... You're thinking of the Dr Dreadful food labs, but there was a "boy" version of the Easy Bake Oven called "Queasy Bake" as well. It was really just an easy bake oven with a different colour scheme lol
