@@dmancrockett Shuddup!! He wasn't 'in" anybody's house, sleeping on their floor. He was on their property, sleeping on a patch of grass, a few feet past their "NO TRESSPASSING" sign. All that was needed, at the most, was to extract him from the property and write him the citation, whether he could afford it or not. He was not aggressive, and he was fully compliant with the cops' commands. You would make a great "Scarecrow" in "The Wizard of Oz".

The law enforcement officers did not give a damn about any of the kids, THEY had to go home to THEIR families that night. What about all the children who didn't? Why are we paying for them to wear bulletproof vest and carry armored shields? Sorry, I forgot, that is to protect the cowards in blue, the law enforcement officers, so they can go home at night.

More than just that one, there have been multiple courts that have upheld that police are NOT there to protect anyone. You want protection? It's called the Second Amendment. Make use of it.
