Simple fix but they don’t want it. End qualified immunity, judicial immunity and have a citizen review process who can also make that decision to end it instead of corrupt judges who are in same criminal system, no more paid vacation, when fired or resigned due to avoid prosecution signs a paper to loose their certification and never be allowed back in. Union funds, department funds pay as well as something comes out that paid criminal checks or pension. And lastly they have to pay insurance like a hospital or dr. Citizens review board, citizen judge, prosecutor and citizen arrest capacity to handle cases when it involves LE, or government officials who violate their oath or commit crimes against humanity. They could fix the problem but they won’t because they steal money and property and freedom from people to fund the corrupt criminal enterprise

@humanrightsadvocate26 күн бұрын
1. Always record the police. 2. Always get their names and badge numbers. 3. Always ask, "Am I free to leave?" 4. Always ask for a supervisor. 5. Always remember you have the right to disobey an unlawful order from the police if you are confident they won't be able to demonstrate in court that the order was warranted and made necessary by your conduct. An arrest following refusal to obey an unwarranted police order is unlawful. 6. Always remember you have the right to refuse to identify yourself if you're confident that the police won't be able to demonstrate in court reasonable suspicion of your involvement in a crime; otherwise, provide your full name and nothing more, especially if threatened with arrest. 7. Always tell the cops, "I don't consent to any searches or seizures, and I won't answer questions." 8. Always remain calm. Trigger happy cops are easily startled. 9. Never resist arrest! Unless you can do so safely and have a valid reason like: self defense or defense of others, unlawful arrest, excessive force, necessity, mistake of fact, duress or coercion, malicious prosecution, preventing a crime, protecting property, medical emergency etc. 10. Always get a lawyer and sue when your rights are violated, targeting individual officers and their department or municipality. Holding officers accountable removes those unfit for duty, while suing the institution can drive policy change. For drivers, prepare the following statement in print or writing to provide to the police along with license, registration and proof of insurance: *WARNING OF LEGAL ACTION FOR RIGHTS VIOLATIONS* During our interaction, I wish to assert my rights as follows: Under the Fourth Amendment, I decline any searches or seizures. Additionally, in accordance with the Fifth Amendment, I affirm my right to remain silent. The 2015 SCOTUS ruling in Rodriguez v. US established that a seizure justified solely by a traffic violation "becomes unlawful if it is prolonged beyond the time reasonably required to complete the mission" of issuing a ticket. I understand that a routine traffic stop may escalate if the police suspect wrongdoing. In such cases, I assert that I'm not obliged to prove my innocence. Any abuse or confusion leading to an arrest will result in legal action to protect my rights and hold responsible parties accountable, including individual officers and their department or municipality. For safety precautions, I'll keep my hands visible on the steering wheel, briefly crack the window to exchange documents, and promptly close it shut. I refuse to obey the order to step out of the vehicle as I consider it unlawful because it is both unwarranted and not made necessary by my conduct. My freedoms don't end where your fears begin. However, I will exit the vehicle if you place me under arrest. I expect you to respect my rights, as per your oath to uphold the Constitution. Sincerely, [Your Name] -------------------------------------------- *QUALIFIED IMMUNITY* Qualified immunity is a legal doctrine that shields government officials, including law enforcement officers, from civil liability for actions performed within their official capacity, as long as those actions do not violate "clearly established" constitutional rights. However, there are certain circumstances where qualified immunity might not protect police officers: 1. **Violation of Clearly Established Law**: If a police officer violates a constitutional right that has been clearly established by existing case law, qualified immunity may not apply. In such cases, the court determines whether the law was clearly established at the time of the alleged violation. 2. **Excessive Use of Force**: If a police officer uses excessive force in violation of the Fourth Amendment's prohibition against unreasonable searches and seizures, qualified immunity may not shield them from liability. Courts examine the specific circumstances of each case to determine whether the force used was objectively reasonable. 3. **Malicious Conduct**: Qualified immunity does not protect officers who engage in malicious conduct or who knowingly violate the law. If it can be shown that an officer acted with malicious intent or deliberately disregarded someone's constitutional rights, they may not be entitled to qualified immunity. 4. **Gross Negligence**: In cases where an officer's conduct demonstrates gross negligence or reckless disregard for the rights of others, qualified immunity might not apply. Courts may find that such conduct goes beyond the scope of official duties and therefore does not merit immunity. 5. **Violation of Clearly Established Policies or Procedures**: If a police officer violates departmental policies or procedures, which are designed to protect individuals' rights, qualified immunity may not shield them from liability. Adherence to departmental protocols does not automatically grant immunity if those actions still violate constitutional rights. 6. **Lack of Subjective Reasonableness**: Even if an officer's actions are deemed objectively reasonable under the circumstances, if the officer's subjective intent is malicious or in bad faith, qualified immunity might not apply. In summary, while qualified immunity generally provides broad protection to law enforcement officers, there are exceptions when their actions violate clearly established constitutional rights, involve excessive force, demonstrate malicious intent, or exhibit gross negligence. Each case is evaluated based on its unique facts and circumstances. -------------------- _The text advocates for asserting rights during police encounters and holding law enforcement accountable. It emphasizes recording interactions, asking for identification, and seeking legal counsel. It challenges qualified immunity, highlighting exceptions where officers may be held liable for violating constitutional rights._ ‒ ChatGPT-3.5

These police have obvious contempt for the citizens. Therefore, they have no business being on the job!!! Find something else to do and stop terrorizing citizens because you have hatred for the community you are supposed to serve. Do something else where people aren’t involved.

Asking for a supervisor doesn't necessarily do you any good when their cut from the same cloth. You have to remember that supervisors were training officers and if the officer was trained to abuse people then the sergeant is probably as dirty as he is

If cops were actually worth a damn, the first cop would have been immediately arrested after he kicked the man in the head.
What them cops did to that young girl hogtied in the back of that car is Beyond Cruel. GOD SEES ALL. One day that cop will have to answer for this deed and all his other evil acts.

Watching this from Europe and flummoxed how US law is enforced. Interaction with public makes them feel like criminals before any investigation. These clowns comes out with the now widely used lawful order - “sit on the curb or take a seat”. Just shows lack of respect making citizens round up like cattle or pets….. And that’s just the start

That woman in the backseat good grief that pissed me off, my God I couldn’t imagine being stuck and feeling the air leaving you. Horrible. I don’t care how annoying she was or anyone is, treat people like wild animals.
That anyone can treat another person like this makes me want to cry.
Cop: I got fired. You should see the other guy, lol
This woman up side down, that's attempted murder, this cop should be in prison, I mean that !
Leave it to dumb cops to ruin a calm situation and turn it into a violent confrontation.
The lady in the backseat looked like she intentionally slide off the seat, BUT he should’ve stopped and adjusted her. As for the cop in Utah…..he needed to lose his job and get punished!

Why would she do that?? How could she stop herself sliding around tied up like a hog?? What you can't see is how the cops were driving. Did they brake hard to force her onto the floor? Regardless, why didn't the cops stop and help her????

@darrenconway8117 I agree. She was unnecessarily hogtied. If she tried to run, she likely would have fallen, but she would have together out of the car first. Additionally, they intentionally didn't place a seat belt on her for that 20 minutes of torture!
Gayle CRUSHED SOMEONE with his TRUCK.....twice? And got that flimsy tap on the wrist? No dui, no threatening civilians with violence, no abuse of badge off duty... Get the judge. These videos are SO GOOD. TYSM for exposing the bad few who make the countless good ALL LOOK BAD. NO WONDER EVERYONE DESPISE OR DON'T TRUST COPS.
There shouldn't be a difference in assault charges for a police officer if anything it should be worse.
Aren't they responsible for their captive while transportation? Oh that's right its Commifornia and you no longer have rights!
Yea thank god for cameras these tyrants are out of control. End qualified immunity and let us start defending each other I bet they stop
The 2nd clip really pissed me off. The chick accuses all the officers of being racist, calls them every name in the book, tries escaping multiple times, then intentionally flops herself onto the floor of the cruiser and starts crying about it. That officer should have been reprimanded for sure but I don't blame him 1 not for letting her sit in the position she put HERSELF in
I NEED TO FIND THE LAW BUT THERE IS A LAW THAT YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO FIGHT BACK IF ITS AN UNLAWFUL ARREST I NEED TO LOOK THAT UP ‼️✅ AGAIN ‼️
I still think if a cop hits someone then they have every right to defend themselves in any way possible.

@@lakeedwards6408 Is there a link? Why would a cop go hands on with an innocent civilian? I am not going to say the cop deserved it, but perhaps the cops actions contributed. It seems to be far more common for cops to do a Judge Dredd on an innocent. The recent case of the cops "rescuing" a kidnapped girl into an early grave being just one of many examples.
wtf! this dude had that girl head down for over 20 minutes. That guy should get some serious prison time
That cop is a criminal............
I honestly think every cop is greasy now. They are all hypocrites!
Cops being fired in America is pathetic as they can just go to another Police department and be hired. Here in Australia if a cop is fired they will never be employed as a cop anywhere in Australia.
I have seen many times police treating African Americans this way and worse ! This cops should be in jail not on the weapons! Some of them are like wild animals!

Never do that to everyone because that’s gotta cost thousands of dollars for assaulting them.

The same putrid behaviour by putrid police officers. A putrid job for putrid people. ✌️👍
One look at Levi and you can tell he was bullied in school. Bring back standards like no beards or tats. Trimmed mustaches.
Throwing a punch at a cop is the only reason the 1st situation got crazy... The cop obviously shouldnt kick a downed man in the face. They should both go to jail, but the cop should stay for years, the drunk driver should only do 90 days.
So sad and it’s heartbreaking when our Officers act in this manner. Protect and serve instead they violated their rights.☹️
2nd girl is definitely a keeper, man, someone should marry that girl, bless her heart....
This 1st guy didn't "swing at a cop",he pulled his arm "from a cop"!
That poor Lady begging the X- Officer Levi to help her- I hope she is okay & hope she got Money & hopefully she got satisfaction that he was Fired. I know I was happy he did
Love to see cop's made accountable for their actions 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Being fired should in absolutely no way shield them from legal sanctions. A judge should have stripped Livi’s qualified immunity and then had him charged with public endangerment.
As of two days ago; Caygle had the judge dismiss the aggravated assault and then he got sentenced to 60 days with 7 already served.
America should have a public registry for dishonored cops and what they did.
Halfway through & all I'm doing is laughing at idiots who got what they deserved.. that lady got treated exactly how she treated the officer. Show respect, get respect. She wanted to scream & fight & try to escape. She clearly had absolutely no difficulty breathing with all the screaming & crying this "tough girl" was doing. I would have ignored her too. I'll bet she was high on something.
