My 9 month old does everything a pup does with many other odd but very cute additions to his behaviour. for instance, when one of us returns from say work or shopping he howls like a wolf all the while jumping and skipping at the pup gate on his hind paws and tail going faster than a second finger on a clock.and he's a cocker spaniel However, there is a downside to all his hyper activity. my 8 year old spaniel seems very unappreciative of all his activity chosing to snarl to warn him of his behaviour. Yet there's no friction between both as i have caught them sleeping on the same bed on numerous occasions. I guess Harvey is more accustomed to being the only dog after Charlie died as he was our main focus of attention for some months prior to welcoming a pup into the family. Do dogs feel left out at time or feel resentful after say a best friend of theirs was no longer around ? Because Charlie and Harvey were really bonded and would go literally nowhere without the other.
