My puppy is almost 5 months old, She acts scared of alot of things and when ppl approach her i walk her daily to get her used to sights and sounds, She also tends to bite alot bearing her teeth.. I know she is a puppy but nothing I do is curbing her bites... should I be worried??

I’m guessing you had / have a small dog my dachshund does the same thing and it’s all due to there size it is so intimidating for them when big ppl walk by but if ppl come to pet her ask them to bend down abit or something? Just to make them smaller

I got a puppy yesterday. He is 9 weeks and 2 days old. He acts extremely fearful. Like hits the floor and cowers away. Wont come out of the crate. Any noise or movement he balks. He acts scared and runs away from me while cowering. I've had other puppies before and this seems extreme to me. When I went to get him the guy was very drunk and had empty gin bottles all over. He told me he "lit this one up" the other day for barking. It was the little boy I have. I wonder if he yelled at them a lot or even hit them. He is such a sweet dog and smart. I'd like to keep him, but don't want a skittish dog for life. I am very outdoorsie and super active and always doing crazy stuff. I need a confident dog. The puppy people did say I could bring him back. What are your thoughts? I don't want a problem dog for life. That would be a total bummer.

Um, the person you bought the puppy from admitted to abuse. Did you call the police?
